Drake999 –
Good quality pickup and the best looking vinyl player I have ever seen. Very solid impression. Lots of great features. Who knows, maybe I use them one of these days. Lol

Warning: I’m being picky! So far the only thing I don’t like is the lid has no cushioning or smooth landing. It’s just a plastic shell held in place by two cheap plastic hinges. When lowering it, you have to be careful to not slam it down on the player. That said, I do wish it had an automatic arm to return to the reading position when finished with the side, but I’ll live without that. Putting it together was easy and I didn’t feel like I had to be a technician. Easy directions and easy to do. I connected it to my stereo and it worked on the first try. I only have experience with low-end players, so I was very impressed with this sound. Obviously if your records are old, dirty and worn out, you won’t get good sound. I have some pristine records that sound phenomenal off this record player. I like the red light shining on the platter to show me it’s at the right speed. I like the big start/stop button. I’ve not yet used the USB to record to my computer. Connecting to my Bluetooth headphones was easy and worked on the first try and the sound was great. I think this player is good at $299. If you can catch it on sale, even better!! I don’t think you can go wrong unless you are one of those really high end audiophile people who would know any better.

Let me start by thanking Amazon for accepting the return of a turntable I bought by mistake. That purchase was the non-Bluetooth version of this turntable.
The main reason for this review is to clarify the confusion around the connections in the back. It took me 4 hours to figure out. There are no clear instructions with the included paperwork or at the website. Hope what I have learned will be useful to others.
Power up/down: It takes 1-2 seconds for the turntable to lock at 33 1/3 rpm speed. 45 and 78 takes less than 3 seconds. Turn off takes similar amount of time. The lock is solid. After about 2 minutes of observation no drift was noticed.
TONEARM: Is similar to earlier generation of Technics and Audio Technica designs. It is lightweight. I couldn’t hear any resonances while listening to broad spectrum music.
CARTRIDGE: The supplied cartridge is entry level VM95E moving magnet. Requires 2 grams of load. The sound is excellent. Much lower vinyl surface noise compared to my older V15 III loaded to 1.25 gram on my other TT. I listen to classical music. I have had a number of cartridges over the years and this sounds the best of them so far.
PHONO/LINE Selector: This switch is located next to RCA jacks on the back panel.
PHONO setting: The output is picked up from the cartridge and must be connected to the amplifier phono input for RIAA equalization. The Bluetooth and the USB output have no signals when switch is set to PHONO. Bluetooth may connect but there will be no sound.
LINE Setting: The output is available through RCA jacks, and either BT or USB, BUT NOT BOTH. The RCA jacks in LINE mode must be connected to any non-RIAA input on the amplifier such as tape or CD but NOT PHONO. The music through USB appears as a digital input ready for other applications on the laptop such as AUDACITY.
BLUETOOTH PAIRING: Only possible when selector switch is set to LINE mode. I was only able to pair a headphone. I tried to pair a laptop (with headphone turned off) but was not successful.
WEIGHT: is around 18 lb. Not much lighter from my Technics SL150.
CONCLUSION: 3* for BT and 3* for not being user friendly to a beginner. 5* for being competitively priced. 3* for poor documentation. 5* for sound quality.
I would have preferred no switch in the back and 2 more RCA jacks – one PHONO and one LINE and all outputs available simultaneously. Let the user decide which outputs to select and where to connect them. Bluetooth connectivity to a laptop will definitely be a good enhancement. There is an interesting choice in the connecting confusion. You can listen through the RIAA equalizer in the turntable or use the RIAA in the amplifier. The turntable equalizer sounds better to my ears than my amplifier!

I love the direct drive with strobe control (no belts to age + deteriorate). The adjustable arm balance and anti-skate work excellent. I do not hear any turntable noise in my digitized files. This is a well designed unit with full features and sold at a reasonable price. Love this turntable.

This Turntable is everything. It’s fairly easy to set up if you follow the video that’s right here on amazon (also found on YouTube), it has Bluetooth capability, it has great sound quality, and it’s just gorgeous!
Totally loco! –
This is my second Audio Technica AT-LP120 turntable, although this one has the Bluetooth connection. I am usually a Yamaha audiophile, but these are great turntables that pair well with my audio systems. Well packaged, easy to set up, looks great, and, most of all, sounds great even with the stock cartridge. If I ever need a third one this product will be up at the top of the list.

This thing is great!! Easy to set up, easy to connect to Bluetooth, and most importantly it sounds awesome!!! I searched and search for the right turntable, had it narrowed down to two Audio Technica, and this one just seemed right. Spoiler alert…IT WAS!!! So if you’re like I was and are on the fence, just pull the trigger an get this one!

So wie beschrieben und Qualität bis auf den 45 Adapter Aufsatz sollte nicht so leicht sein !

Sound quality, Bluetooth connectivity, phono/line level switch, speed control… Everything works perfectly.
Old Jedi –
The turntable has what I want, an adjustable arm and antiskate along with bluetooth. Sounds great ! I bought a set of Edifier bookshelf speakers and have them connected via Bluetooth. I do recommend that if you purchase this turntable, be sure to adjust the counterbalance on the arm. It makes a big difference in sound quality and also resolves most issues with skipping and distortion in speakers. I would recommend this turntable to anyone who buys and plays newer vinyls. You can get a decent turntable for less money but you are better off spending a hundred more to get the adjustable arm and antiskate. It’s well worth it.
They say it is better to connect via wire for better, warmer sound quality but the Bluetooth is still nice to have. It’s convenient.

Mi è piaciuto nel design e nel funzionamento

This is a great turntable for those looking to get into Vinyl. Build and sound quality is very good.
Being that it is a completely manual turntable it gives you a very hands on experience with your music, which is the complete opposite to the experience you get with streaming. I found that buying music on vinyl and using this turntable in particular has given me a much greater appreciation for music and a new way to relax after a hard day. I highly recommend the turntable and the experience it offers.
