Please don`t waste your money on this mat. It is adorable but cheap. It looks pretty durable but I set it on the floor yesterday and this morning the air had leaked out and it was leaking water from somewhere. Too bad because it is cute but unless you have a long roll of repair tape, stay away from it.

As a cat mom I’m always looking for new things to keep my 3 cats entertained. I’d been eyeing this fun water mat for a while and took the plunge, no pun intended 🙂
They are definitely a bit intimidated by this strange thing on the floor but also very intrigued as my video shows. It will take a little time before they enjoy it to its fullest, but so far it’s definitely a great addition to their playtime.
It’s also so easy to set up…just blow air in the outer ring and pour water into the middle part, that’s it, very easy.
It is colorful and fun, with little sea creatures floating around, grabbing the cats attention. I will experiment by using it outdoors as well with some cool water in these hot summer months, I’m sure they will enjoy that as well.
Definitely not your every day cat toy, someone put some thought into this…well done!

Meow everybody! I’m very playful but couldn’t engage w new water mat! I watched my human set it up but I just couldn’t go near it—maybe it’s the strong vinyl odor—I love to smell stuff & mat stinks—my human showed me video of kittens having great time & moved all the fishy items about in the mat to entice me but I’m a year old now & no longer a kitten—I think my human wanted to surprise me but I am not at all attracted to water play mat…my big sister Panther shows no interest either…maybe if it smelled like catnip or cod we’d be more inclined to investigate…maybe if it airs out we might have a go at it…purr purr the end.
