I was surprised the quality of everything was good considering what I paid, however I am missing one of the black pieces on the end and that makes it impossible to string without. Would be nice to try out. Curious if anyone knows how I can obtain that black stringing piece that goes on the end?

For its size this is a powerful little crossbow. Much stronger than I thought it would be. Can easily be used for pest control. Surprisingly accurate with just the stock metal sights. Next investment will be a decent target.
Assembly was straight forward, just need to make sure that the limb assembly is centered properly. Stringing took a little effort but wasn’t too much trouble.
I would recommend.
Update: Having fun with this thing. I would recommend the one piece pistol bolts. The aluminum and plastic are nice, heavy, and fly straight but the fletching/flights break easily. Plan on loosing a few of them.

I bought this crossbow to help eliminate rabbits who have been dining on my wife’s garden. It came a little late in the season so I have not had a lot of time with it. However, I would say that it is very accurate and seems durable enough for the price. And wow! it does pack a punch. My first shot was into a bag of soil I had sitting by my shed. Went right through it and into the the shed although it did not stick. However, I was convinced that it would penetrate the rabbit easily should I hit one.
I have not seen them yet but would believe there would be different tipped bolts for it. The tips on the bolts that came with it and the extra ones I bought, are pointed but not sharp. Yes, they would penetrate the rabbit which is great but will not stick into wood. Perhaps that it too dangerous.
Overall, it works well and is fun. No rabbits were hurt in the review…

Shoots on target, I have shot about 100 arrows so far with no problems, as they say on forged in fire, it will kill, not a toy, supervise your kids.

Exceeded my expectations!
There are many clones of this crossbow model.
I opted for this Bear model because it came with 60 lbs. vs. 80 lbs. limbs.
For my purpose, the bolt negligible speed difference is inconsequential, and is more than made up buy the gentler cocking force.
This crossbow is well made and surprisingly accurate plenty powerful.
The only negative I can think of, is that they could have included a few more bolts.
P.S. I’ll still give it a 5 star, but I have to report that after just a little use, the latch-lever that releases the cocking stock, broke.
This defect has been reported as a common problem. I can why, it is a design flaw. Where it gave way, the plastic is very thin, and bound to easily break.
I replaced the latch with one I made out of metal.

I received mine today. It feels sturdy, not cheap. I had it assembled in about 5 minutes.
I was worried it would be hard to string. It was not hard at all. I did it by myself without issues. I strings like my hunting recurve crossbow. Give the string 3 twists to increase the power a little.
I will wax the string and oil the rail for the bolts before I shoot it. Then put on a litter laser sight I have before I shoot it.
It would be nice if there were a parts list for replacement parts. Especially the bow string. I always keep extra strings for my equipment.
Maybe a list for add ons like quivers, stocks. Rather than sending customers to Steambow for those.
I recommend buying string wax and rail oil when you order this to keep it in top shape and gey better life of the string and better performance of the bolts.
For $50 this is worth the money for this gall.

My item must’ve been a used item or return, because there was no instructions in the box whatsoever. I’m really disappointed because I had to go on YouTube and try to piece together and figure out how to put this thing together. After I did get it together. It seems like it’s OK. It still is very difficult to use so I’m not sure that this is going to be something we would actually get any usage out of. I’m disappointed as well becauseI need the instructions to be able to make sure that safely. I constructed this correctly for safety reasons. So the shipping was very fast got to me in 2 days. The string really wasn’t that difficult to put on so idk what people are on about. The package is missing 1 of the rubber stoppers that hold the limbs in place though. It is supposed to come with 2 but the package only has 1. Other than that it’s great though fires perfectly and is pretty strong
