Great glove for traditional archery. The softness of the leather allows your fingers to curl for a natural grip on the string. Gloves made of thick, stiff leather do not crease or allow your fingers to curl around the string. This creates a flat unstable surface under the string making it harder to hold and control with a less natural release. The Velcro is also properly installed on this glove, with the hooks facing up so they do not touch your skin. I tried a glove at a major outdoor store, and the Velcro hooks on the tab were facing down this allowed them to rub the skin on your wrist making it very uncomfortable. The fit and quality of this glove is wonderful and I expect to get at least a full season of practice and hunting out of it.

Best glove for the price. The Velcro becomes useless after a couple of months. Ive put hundreds of arrows through this glove with a 60 lb recurve and left it out in the rain accidentally for a week and it is still my best budget glove.

This archery shooting glove has good quality, fit, and function for my large/extra large hands when shooting at 30 lbs. bow draw weight. The extra large size fits me like a glove! Note: Sizing is not uniform across other manufacturers. The finger tips are flexible, but unlike some other gloves, have sufficient padding to prevent nerve damage to my finger pads. I have tried other styles and brands of finger tabs and gloves, but this one is my favorite.

This is a beautiful real leather glove.. thick where it needs to be and very soft. When this one wears out I’ll buy another.

This is a nice shooting glove. The leather is thick enough to protect your fingers, but soft enough to manipulate when shooting

Used to shoot with a good quality, thick (pricey) glove, but gave it away at some point. Switched to a 3-under finger tab which seems to work very well for me. However, missed the “nostalgia” of a glove, so bought the Bear glove. Love it! It’s my go-to for archery now. It’s not super thick but does a good job of protecting my fingertips on longbows and recurves running 62″-66″ at 45# + draw. Plus, it’s a Fred Bear product, can’t go wrong there. Highly recommended.

I have spent a fortune on buying pretty much every glove out there , Once you break this glove in it is amazing , I love it and will buy no other kind ,this glove is great for heavy and light bows , I strongly recommend it, you might have to fight with it in until it is broken in but the reward is worth the wait.

Very durable! Have shot over a thousand arrows with this glove with no issues! It’s pretty stiff out of the package. So I used a leather conditioner to soften the leather. Now it fits perfect. It’s snug but not tight! Very comfortable glove!

Very nice. Do size up though. I wear a size large glove and purchased an extra large shooting glove. Glad I did, too. It fits perfectly.

So as for quality its magnificent It works amazingly well. The reason I’m giving 3 instead of 5 is solemnly because I ordered a medium it smelled used was dirty as hell, then I ordered a extra large since medium didn’t fit new size arrive and has white saw dust all over it felt used leather was worn so I just used my leather cleaner fixed it up and glove works well on my compound bow.

My first glove for traditional archery. Good quality. Reasonable finger protection. Although it’s easier to add extra padding to a finger tab for for practicing with high draw weights. For me a finger tab is more precise and consistent for static target shooting. However, the bear glove is holding up well and more convenient in the field.
