This is one of the first pedals I bought, after watching a lot of comparison videos on youtube, I concluded that the difference between this and higher priced pedals wasn’t enough to warrant the extra money. Since then I have bought quite a few more, similarly low priced pedals from other brands and it’s become apparent that this pedal is the weakest link in my effect chain. There’s nothing particularly wrong with the DR600, it does what it’s supposed to, but it sounds a bit cheap and plastic-y at times. I heard the difference in the comparison videos I mentioned earlier, but really didn’t think it was that big of a deal until I spent a lot of time with it. While I don’t regret my purchase, this will be the first pedal I replace with something better once I have a full set and I kind of wish I went with Donner’s similarly priced reverb pedal instead, as the rest of their pedals have really blown me away.
TL;DR: not a bad pedal but there may be better options out there for a similar price and this will be the first pedal I replace once I’ve got a full set.

Its a good reverb pedal. Most amps on board reverb might be enough but this gives a good option for others verb options. I don’t regret getting this but I am also not sure it would sit on pedalboard as an always on pedal.

I wanted a low cost Reverb device for my Behringer MS-1 Synthesizer. I didn’t need anything with too many options just a few types of Reverb, Spring, Plate, Hall would be enough because the MS-1 is a pretty basic Mono Synth for Bass and Lead lines and it’s not terribly great for making complicated deep lush ambient sounds. I also already own a Zoom Stomp 70CDR and Hall of Fame 2 for my other Synthesizers and Mellotron.
For a Synth like the MS-1 which is only $199 I can’t justify buying a pedal that costs more than the instrument.
This Behringer Reverb fit my needs perfectly. It’s simple, quiet , sounds great and adds just the right amount of Reverb options to make the MS-1 sound full and rich. The price can’t be beat.
The build quality is pretty good but it is plastic not a metal case. That’s fine for me as it will just sit on my music workstation next to the Synth not in a Pedal Board in a live playing situation. Not sure how it would hold up to that.
One thing to note, it does not use a battery so you have to get a 9 volt power adapter. Sort of odd that Behringer doesn’t bundle one with it even if it added to the price. Anyway I did buy the D’Addario one which is only $11.
UPDATE AFTER a week. I was wrong, this pedal does take a 9 volt battery but you have to push two clips on the left and right of the foot pedal itself to remove it to access the battery. Once you do, the spring that controls the pedal pops out and it’s very difficulty to put back together. When I finally got it back together the pedal would not turn off, and the pedal motion was stiff. I tried opening it again and re-seating the pedal but it still did not align properly a d stop working. VERY POOR DESIGN to have to take it apart to put a Battery in, ridiculous. I RETURNED it and will buy a better quality and designed pedal!

Let’s start off with the incessant complaint about Behringer pedal durability: For what the DR600 costs, you are getting very good electronics at a low price and a durable (but probably not so much for professional hard-gigging stuff) plastic case. I have four other Behringer pedals and they are standing up to regular use. No, I am not a professional musician. Now the good stuff: It has clear, distinctive control over spring, plate and hall reverb with decent time control. I’m not sure what room modulation does with this unit but I can’t hear a change. I’m using either plate or spring. The level control is effective and the tone control is satisfactory. A bonus is that it has stereo A/B inputs for a stereo setup. I am mono, but it is a bonus for some. Now, a complaint (and one that I truthfully cannot 100% isolate to this pedal): It appears to add a weird electronic burbling feedback to my pedal chain and amps. It is low enough that I only hear it when I am not playing. If I kick the off switch it (mostly) disappears. Moving my in/out cord from the A jack to the B jack helped. For the price and sound, I can live with it. I am very happy with it. Think price and good competitor circuit emulation.

Sure sure its not the best DSP in the world, but its really not bad at all.. I agree with someone that some fo the different reverbs didn’t sound that different from eachother but there is some difference for sure..
TBH I have worked as a professional sound engineer for 18 years ish on and off.. I used Behringer a lot over the years, their mixing desks, the cheap sm58 microphone clones (£14 and sound nearly as good as a sm58 on a PA). Sure there is not the same “sheen” as the more expensive options. But from my experience they always do the job they are supposed to, I never had any technical issues over the years of using them and they give you a HUGE amount of bang for your buck! I am sure that this pedal will do the same, I did not find the build quality to be worrying even though its plastic, because I do not expect it to be thrown around or treated with disrespect.
The reverb especially compared to a lot of other cheaper reverbs, is nice and rich, it doesn’t really sound digital and lacing in depth. It does sound 24bit I reckon.. It has a nice algorithm and I really enjoy playing around on it, it gives such a nice atmosphere… I will try some of their other pedal I think as they’re so insanely cheap!!

I have no idea what I am doing. I have been playing guitar for close to 16 years but not consecutive years more like, year one repeated 16 times over. So I would call myself a sucky intermediate guitar player. You don’t want to hear me Gig because I can’t. I don’t know any songs all the way through. I get the main riff down or any other part I like, then quit that song and move on to another one. What does that have to do with this guitar pedal? Well it sounds just fine to me and it works or at least I think it does. If it is supposed to sound like you are playing in the bathroom then yes it works great. Now if this guitar pedal was supposed to give me the skills of Jimi Hendrix or Stevie Ray Vaughn then well it is a fail. I wanted to buy the pedal that makes me play and sound like David Gilmore but I could not find that one. So I am pretty sure if your reading this then you probably don’t gig, are stuck in intermediate hell and only play for those whom you wish to punish. If your friends and family say things “like seriously dude learn something other than the A minor penatonic scale and two power chords, we are sick of it” then this is the right pedal for you. It has a knob and if you turn it it sounds like your playing in a bathroom. Turn it another way and it sounds like your playing in an air raid shelter with no one else around (they left because you suck just like me). Turn it even another way it sounds like your playing at Carnegie Hall except no one came to see you play. So if that is what reverb is supposed to do it works great and I think easy to use because I really have no idea what I am doing. Oh yes I bought the widgity gigity power supply thing with the pretty blue lights and it works great with that thing. I hate changing batteries.

This is a great sounding reverb for the price you can’t beat it. Alot of people knock Behinger pedals because of the plastic housing. I have 3 other Behinger pedals for years now and have had no issues with them at all. The Behinger reverb does exactly what I need it to do for the fraction of the price compared to the name brand pedals. I will admit I’m a Boss pedal fan have several but I needed another reverb and I’m glad I bought this one. I like the fact that it has the stereo feature as that is how I have my set up. I would not hesitate to buy another Behinger pedal when needed.

Para el precio está perfecto, yo lo uso para destacar un poco el sonido de mi bajo, lo tengo junto con algunas distorsiones, un compresor y un preamplificador. No mete ruido. Quizá la calidad del reverb con la perilla del nivel más allá de los tres cuartos sea demasiado artificial, pero no encuentro un contexto en el que esto sea necesario. La construcción es de plástico, pero se ve bien construido.
