Very good game, not great but good. The game is a good sequel, but it does not have those “omg moments” like the first one. What I mean by “omg moments” is that, this game is not scary at all. Yes, you will get your typical pop up here and there, but nothing worth changing your underwear. The Evil Within 2 is more of an action game than a horror game (if that makes any sense) in this game you feel safe more than half the time. In the previous game, you never felt safe, the environment made you feel creeped out and scared during the whole game. The Evil Within 2 will not give you that sensation. Example, Doom is a “horror”game, but who gets scared when you have all kinds of big guns? Exactly no one. It looses its “horror” factor.
Run out of bullets? No problem, getting bullets in this game, is just as easy as snapping your fingers.
I give this game a 4 out of 5. I enjoy the game, but this game should have a different title. This is not Evil Within.
***Important***
I have a massive gaming pc, and this game has severe fps drops. This game doesnt hold a solid 60fps. I have 2x Titan x Pascal for crying out loud. Terrible optimization

Excellent game, and a massive improvement over the first.
Couple things with this disc version. The full game IS NOT included on disc. You must register the code to a Steam account (included in the case) and, if you choose, install a portion of the game from the disc or fully install it from Steam. Makes no difference which way you do it.
The game is marked up to $40, so buying it cheap physical may be a better option in some cases. Or just wait til its on sale.

I don’t get the hate for the Evil Within games. These are great survival horror games. It seems like nowadays most “horror” games make you feel like Rambo. In the Evil Within, you have to conserve ammo and try to find alternate routes around enemies, or eliminate them without wasting bullets.
One of the things I really enjoyed about this sequel was the open world feel that EW2 brings to the game. You play in a town called Union that serves as the main hub for different areas that you travel to in order to progress the story. There are side missions that are optional to the story, and you have to really decide if going into an area is worth it if you are low on ammo.
Overall, a very satisfying experience. I’ve been playing survival horror games for a while, and I really feel like this game is a standout.

The first thing is that the game is fire, it’s the most amazing psychological horror game I have ever played. Also I purchased the PC version, it was brand new 100% original, even came with an exclusive last chance pack. Thanks to the dealer, I’m fully satisfied.
WoodWorker –
One of the best games I think I ever played! And I’ve played a lot. I did not ever play the first episode, but I’m looking forward to getting it now.
Sean F –
There was a little tension while playing the early levels, like once you enter Union and you’re creeping through the houses. After that the world opens up and it’s just too easy. I wasn’t tense or on alert at all in this one compared to the original. Once I got a few hours in and had cleared out the opening area, there just wasn’t anything left to see. Any tension that would’ve mounted was waived because I had tons of ammo. Then the stress of thinking “should I run” was also stripped away because I’d rather trade the ammo for green gel. When you can kill everything, it’s not really tense or scary. It just became a grind to finish to see how the story played out. I hope the third installment gets back to its roots.

this game requires an Internet connection to play.
this was not stated in the advertisement

The whole purpose in Buying a physical disk Is to run a game without Internet connection to install and or run. useless
Adrian Rodriguez –
Can’t use the game due to it being activated elsewhere already. I bought it two years ago and too late to return.
