Good product for the price, the only thing i dont like is that it doesnt lock so not to secure if we put hot liquid in it

I like the price, ease of use and blending efficiency of this product, which I use to blend multiple food products for my morning breakfast drink. If I needed to grind up mostly ice cubes, I would probably opt for a more powerful model in the 800-1000w range, however.

I burned the motor on mine trying to chop something. Therefore I had to replace it with a new one. This is my second Black and Decker blender. It has a glass container with a plastic lid. It just the right size for the kitchen counter, not taking up too much space. It does what a blender needs to do. It’s easy to clean as the bottom screws off for cleaning. It has all the different speeds and purposes for chopping, blending etc. AND it was delivered the next day.!!! Nothing like a good old fashion blender. They still WORK. YAY!

We were looking for a replacement for our previous blender, after it died after ~8 years of regular use. This one has a cheap feeling base and an overly complicated button system. The glass bowl is a good size. However, the problem is that it didn’t work for making smoothies using frozen strawberries and mangos. The power was simply too weak, even at level 10! I had to stop the blender and manually mix, then turn the blender on again, and repeat this several times, to get most of the smoothie made. And when cleaning, I found that one of the strawberries got stuck under the blade and knocked it out of place. Totally unacceptable. So it’s main advantages are that it’s large, cheap and easy to clean. But since it doesn’t do it’s job, it’s not worth buying.

This is just the right size for my countertop, it blends very well and has ton of different speeds on it, it doesn’t go flying off the counter when it’s blending and it’s super easy to clean. Very good value for the money

For some blending jobs we want a slower speed and this model has one that works well. Everything is fine but the materials are not the best so the life of the blender remains to be seen.

I’m impressed with the quality of this blender. Works very well. Easy to clean. Instructions don’t explain how to use a button function. There is a high and low button which you use to get the right number function. Something that should be written in the instructions. I recommend this blender.

I want to trust a brand like Black & Decker to be among the best in household tools. But the description of this blender as powerful and great for smoothies was somewhat optimistic. Even at the highest speed, it has trouble with hard pieces like carrots, beets, or frozen fruit. And it’s loud! I wish I’d spent a little more money to get better quality.
