En Ciudad de México la temperatura llega a 32 grados, algo inusual pero desde el año pasado subió. Este ventilador me sirvió muy bien. Llevo una semana usándolo y hasta ahora no he tenido problemas. Lo uso en mi recámara.

I want to make this quick and to the point, this Dan is a great value for the money. I can adjust it high or low, rotating or stationary. No assembly required, easy to use, not super noisy and has really helped me through this heat wave. Outstanding performance and very versatile.

From reading the other reviews I was hopeful that the fan’s sleep mode was quiet as a whisper, but this is not the case. I wouldn’t consider the fan to be “loud”, given how large it is, but if you or your partner needs next to pure silence to sleep – this fan would likely be a disturbance. That aside though, the air flow has huge reach even on the low setting, and given how large the fan is I would not consider it to be loud compared to others. The noise it does emit is soft (is not sharp sounding or abrasive) considering it’s size and how well it moves air. This is why I’ll keep it anyway to move cool air from the heat pump to the bedrooms. It is aesthetically well-built and looks nice.
If you’re looking for a strong fan that can be quiet as a whisper, I don’t think this will be it, but if you can handle some soft noise then you shouldn’t have any complaints with this one. If you like to sleep to the sound of a fan (like I do, but not my partner) then I think you will enjoy this unit quite a bit.
PS: I posted a question above re/ the sound levels and would love some feedback from other owners if possible for comparisons.
PSS: I don’t care much for a remote to begin with but as others stated, no batteries included. Fahrenheit only. Seems to read the rooms temp (unsure exactly how accurate it is.)

I really love the various features of this fan, from the sleep settings to the ‘burst’ settings & rotations. The LED is super bright so the sleep feature is definitely helpful for keeping the bedroom darker at night. It puts out a great amount of air flow and (in my opinion) is very quiet compared to similar makes and models available. I always have to have a fan when I sleep and this one is even better than many of the Vornado’s and more expensive brands I’ve purchased in the past. It comes with a remote that you can comfortably use to fine tune the settings whilst laying in bed. Definitely recommend 🙂

Fan was easy to assemble and performs as described. Is quiet and does a nice job cooling the room. My issues are that a) the remote did not come with a battery. That just felt like a way for Black and Decker to get off cheaply. You have to press the remote buttons seriously hard in order for it to work. C). My biggest issue is that the fan wobbles with the slightest touch. It rotates from right at the bottom where it attaches to the base. And so nothing about the design stabilizes the fan. It works nicely. But the moment I press a control button, the whole fan wobbles and it feels like a cheap piece of junk. Anybody else? Did I assemble it wrong or miss a solution for this?

I bought this fan not!!! Only because I have always used& trusted BLACK& DECKER!!! for years, but it was in my price range& also very stylish…Wow! am I so disappointed& pissed. I didn’t take it out the box right away, because I wanted to clean& organize the guest room first, but when I finally did. I immediately noticed the air quality was off!! but it was nice and quiet like I liked, so I decided to test it and give it a fair chance. atleast for a few weeks before I made my true decision, if I was going to loved it or Not!! Well unfortunately it did not pass my strict test!! I tried to return it, but it passed my return date😪 so I’m now stuck with this awful purchase. I was told by a coworker that she had just purchased one from Amazon that was less expensive and much better!!! It’s called PELONIS….Tower Fan, I bought it,, now this was a better purchase, much more of a powerful fan #ILoveIt. I have only had it two weeks, but I so Love it, just wish it cane in black!! Better purchase, believe me it is way better🤗

It’s very tall, but that helps keep the air moving over items near the floor; on LOW speed the air was ruffling some papers 20 feet away. My remote came with a dead battery so can’t comment on that, but I do like the option of having one to control at a distance. There are 3 fan speeds (as usual) Lo/Med/Hi, and 3 types of wind delivery options: one that varies the fan speed to Lo/Med/Hi mimicking the wind through the trees, another mode for Sleep which maintains the chosen fan speed and blacks out the (very bright) digital display, and the last mode is well, regular mode…just whatever L/M/H speed you chose🫤
There’s a 12hr sleep timer, which turn off the fan at the end of the set amount. Warning: it is NOT the quietest fan, but has that white noise I need to sleep…and the lowest speed is equal to the FASTEST speed on my old tower fan! This thing moves air fast!

Performs perfect! I love the 3 blow settings! The stand is alittle big, but it fits right in the small space I needed. Beware that it can be controlled by a tv remote. The style is perfect for any room. I love the temperature feature and know what temperature it is in my room. The led lights are not extremely bright so it doesn’t disturb your sleep.

Love that no tools are required. Screws are butterfly twist and turn to tighten. Fan is very quiet. Medium and high speeds are not as quiet but definitely not disturbing. I love the sleep mode as the display goes dark after 30 seconds on low and medium speed. My only issue with this fan is there is no way to turn off the display at night if you are not using the fan. Therefore, the temp remains visible in bright when the fan is off. I have placed a small towel over the display and turned it away from my bed, which helps.
As other uses mentioned, my Samsung phone and Samsung TV remote occasionally change the fan setting. Sooooo weird LOL !!! Whenever you change a setting, the fan emits a beep. My phone and remote occasionally cause it to beep, less occasionally a setting will change. Note that the beeps or setting changes do not occur each time I use my phone or remote.
Overall, I love my new fan.
