What a great griddle. Once seasoned we had no issues cooking on it during our 5 days camping trip. Everything cooked great from steaks to burgers, to eggs and bacon! Well worth the cost. Quaility is there!

Be careful while unpackaging your Blackstone 22-inch griddle. I received mine today and noticed a small black bolt in the plastic wrap covering the unit’s base. Later, I discovered a small black nut in the box in which the griddle was shipped. Upon inspection, I observed that the nut/bolt had fallen off the rear of the griddle’s base which secured one of the burners.
After securing the burner, I seasoned the griddle and it seems to work as described.

Purchased the 22″ table top griddle which I have seasoned this weekend. First cook was sliced onions and hamburgers. Griddle temperature was very consistent and clean up went very will.

Oh boy, it has taken a long time for me to finally pony up and get a Blackstone. This thing is amazing, It has great temperature control, and a griddle is so much easier to camp cook than a stove. great for morning bacon and eggs, or burgers, stirfry, you name it, you can cook it on here.

I bought this Blackstone 22″ Table Top Griddle for camping but I keep it on my patio to cook on at home. Everything I cook on it tastes great. It’s easy to maintain and if I clean it immediately after each use (and I do), there is not a single issue with it’s performance. I would recommend this to anyone who wants the griddle experience without spending a bunch of money on a larger model.

Here ya go… I buy a ton of stuff for camping and cooking, I have stoves galore from 30 years in the woods. For something for a basecamp this thing is awesome. I cooked for a ton of people on it this weekend, bacon, burgers, hotdogs, grilled cheese with cold cuts, sausage, this is your grandmother’s black iron skillet gone mobile. You aren’t going to pack it very far, it is heavy, but this is very easy to store away and pull out for cook out, tailgating, easy setup at camp. There are several accessories that just compliment it so nicely, I can barely contain myself. Poke around at my other reviews.
Update: So I ended up reading the other reviews from several people, and was a bit unhappy on some of the negativity. So in my update thought I would give you this griddle’s latest story.
First, ANY cast iron product you buy usually has scratch marks or weld marks on it.
Second, They also come with a layer of protective oil on it under the plastic, sticky and kinda nasty agreed, however that way it isn’t an actual rusty mess from the factory. That said, just as the manual says, wash with hot soppy water, clean with a salt polish, season 4-8 times. They have videos on their website, VERY clear instructions in the manual for first use!
Third, I have 3 Blackstones in various sizes, 2 of them have been out with nothing but the cover on them the other commonly has to face the elements while camping. I barely get any rust ever, and it is an easy clean up to re-season if I do. Blackstone also sells a very good maintenance kit, which outlines very clearly when to use each of the parts in it to not only prevent but fix many of these issues. When I read some reviews, all I could think was your grandma taught you nothing.
Finally, I have really enjoyed all 3 of my products, not to mention their support was out of this world for the couple of things I did have to address none were major issues. If you follow their written/video/the other hundreds of users that post videos, you will have an awesome cast iron product that will most likely never go bad.

Works so well, heats up quick. The only real thing is the burners don’t make it hot on the edges so seasoning it is weird. But it’s been amazing. You can cook a lot on it really. If you don’t need to feed more thank like 6 people (probably more) it’s perfect. I cook for four and have plenty of room left even with four steaks and potatoes.

What isn’t there to love about blackstones! These griddles are wonderful things, easy to transport for camping, and are moderately easy to maintain and clean to prevent rust! I mainly cook Smash burgers and Cheesesteaks on it, but the options are endless!
