Amazon Customer –
These are hands down the best lifestyle boots out there for those who farm, build, outdoor chores, outdoor working type boots. I’ve had many pairs of the Blundstone’s basic boot, and now trying the steal toe. It is barely noticeable inside and out, if at all. These boots are not for hiking or logging, but rather a lighter weight work boot. There’s a slight amount of wiggle room that I think is perfect for breathability and comfort. Somehow Blundstone boots are a bit roomy but do not slip up and down when walking. I find this an incredible feature as I’m on my feet all day as a carpenter/builder. They offer a little security around the ankle, but definitely allow the ankle to move freely for balance and agility, climbing around on roofs, beams, whatever. If you have issues with sweaty feet at work, these boots will help unless yours fit tightly. I’m very hard on footwear, and get about a year and a half from a pair of Blundstones, only because the sole eventually wears off leaving no traction. The boot itself has never fallen apart. As with any steal toe boot, there’s a weakness on the leather over the steal toe because there’s no give. The toe cannot handle getting scuffed as much as the non steal toe version due to its give, but safety has its compromises. I think the cost of these boots are very fair given that there’s fancy hiking footwear out there for the same cost that craps out in half the time. Been there done that. It’s a lifestyle boot, you either love them because they fit your lifestyle or you just don’t need them anyway. My only complaint is that I would prefer better arch support, but inserts fit no problem. Keep these boots waxed and they can handle damp conditions, morning dew and the like. I also like how Blundstone keeps focused on their boots, while other companies like Timberland and such went too big and the vast array of choices render most of them junk. It’s a company I can feel good about supporting as a consumer.

These are my first pair of Blundstones – I had to pick up a pair of safety-toed shoes and was drawn to them because of the ease of on/off with the chelsea design and from what I’d heard about their comfort. On both counts they delivered. I love having a pair of sturdy boots that can be put on and taken off in under 5 seconds. The lack of stiff ankle support has never bothered me and is particularly nice for things like driving, but the work I needed them for didn’t require extra ankle stability.
I will say I didn’t wear these for heavy duty work – maybe walking a couple miles a day around a warehouse, but they never gave me any trouble comfort-wise. No hotspots on the first day, toebox is decent for a safety toe (I can feel it on my big toes but no issues), and always comfortable. Good with thin or thick socks even for my slightly wide feet. Now they serve well as general purpose yard work/poor weather/snow boots.
A note on sizing – I had to size down 1 full size from my sneakers, which means 2 sizes down for the correct AU size. I wear an 11 in Nikes and a 10 US in Bludstones, which is a 9 AU. I also wear a 10 US in Red Wings. The Blunnies run generous in width so if you’ve got only somewhat wide feet a regular width should be fine, and if you have narrow feet I would try a few sizes to see what works.

I bought these shoes for three reasons: I wanted to try slip-on work boots for the first time after moving up to 35 acres of overgrown family farm, the customer reviews were great, and the price was as good or better than other, less-well reviewed competitors. The downside? I thought they looked funny.
Three weeks after they arrived, I’m ready to call it: These are the greatest work boots I’ve ever worn, and I doubt I’ll ever wear anything else.
On Day 1, I thought they fit nicely, but as I walked around, the stiffness of the leather on top of my foot felt uncomfortable. It took about a day and a half of that to go away forever. Once you put these on, they fit securely without being in any way tight. My toes have room to move around, and my feet feel free and happy. Now that they’re broken in, they go on easy, come off with a quick kick, and take whatever I put them through. I’m on my dogs for hours a day, and they feel better at quitting time than ever.
Other reviewers complained that they scuff up. Well, yes they do. But they’re work boots. If you work in them — and I do everything from gardening to cutting trees, clearing land, fixing machines and running back and forth to the grocery and hardware stores — they’re going to to get scuffed, and the leather is going to take some nicks. I just think it gives them character.
One thing that surprised me: Even though this is a boot with a composite toe, I was using a big magnet to search for a metal part that hopped off a tiller I was fixing, and damn if it didn’t hone in right on my boot. That toe is tough, and I’m glad to have it. Also, I spend a lot of time cutting down invasive Bradford Pears in these neglected fields, and they’re covered in nasty thorns. I had an inch-and-a-half-long Bradford thorn go straight into the sole, and it didn’t touch my foot. Had to work it for a while with a knife before I could pull it out with pliers, My last pair of boots, I’d have been pulling that out of my foot.
Finally as to the look of them: Not only has it grown on me, now I feel funny if I’m wearing something else.
Purchase price I paid through Prime was at least $12 less than everywhere else I looked for this boot, and with free shipping.
Can’t beat it. Buy these boots. Never look back.

Love these boots. Very comfortable and protective. Good toe room. Just replaced due to worn out sole after over 8 years of use. Top and inside are still great.

Son loved these. He will rotate the ones I gave him last year when his workboots wear out

Love these boots there so comfortable. Not sure why I waited so long to get a pair. I’m already looking to get some more for outside of work. Can’t say enough good things about these boots
