I bought these because I was worried about my supply with my third breast fed baby and wanted to try to increase it a bit and save a stash. I had tried the haaka, but I could never get it to stay on and it drove me nuts. This one works wonderfully and since it lives in my bra it stays on!! I don’t leak a ton because I have a big storage capacity but the suction on these is just enough to draw out .5 oz to 1.5 oz per feed, depending on time of day (I get the most in the early morning). If you couldn’t get the haaka to work for you I encourage you try these!

These silicone cups work great with a bra. When you wear them with one of those breastfeeding undershirts, it doesnt look right. Fair warning, when you move around and have milk in there, your nipples might get a little cold splashing of milk. In my experience, I have a cloth handy when I take them off so I can wipe my breast and the cup before putting it back on.

They catch the letdown that randomly hits me when I am doing things around the house. They fit easily in a nursing bra and my nursing nightgown. The suction is a little tricky to get right, but I like these because my newborn can’t kick them off like he could the Haakaa so that’s a bit bonus. I leak way too much to speak on using them overnight, but I wouldn’t recommend it anyways so I don’t waste milk if I end up sleeping 3+ hours. Easy to clean and get the milk out. Love that they stand up on their own, too! Definitely a must have if you’re nursing or pumping to store milk!

I can never get my Haakaa to stay on, so I like that these just fit in your bra! Easy to use and comfortable enough that I have forgotten I was wearing it a few times and overfilled the cup. The silicone is flexible, easy to clean and dries quickly. It’s easy to pour the milk into a bottle and I haven’t noticed any issues with drips. I do wish it held a bit more and I find that I have to press to get a good seal often but I still like this way more than any other collector cup. I use it to catch letdowns on the side my baby isn’t eating on and it’s an easy way to start a little freezer stash without committing to pumping. I also like that I can use it to get some of the fore milk out so my baby doesn’t choke on my overactive (and overly dramatic) let down. If it held more and I didn’t have to reseal so often I would give 5 stars. Just a quick word of warning, be sure that this is actually standing up on its bottom before you let go…the base is small and it’s easy to think it’s stable but milk definitely goes flying if this tips over. I just hold it until I can pour it into a bottle to avoid spills.

I am convinced that these are a must-have for any breastfeeding moms. I only wish I had found them sooner!
Being a FTM, I didn’t know what to get as I built my baby registry. I kept seeing the Haaka manual pump being recommended so I included that on my registry. I like the Haaka, but the suction is so strong sometimes that it puts me off wanting to use it.
I next saw the Haaka ladybug cups being recommended by other moms to catch the milk that leaks in between feeds. I started to desperately need something to catch the milk because our whole house is covered in milk drops/stains from all the leaking. The Haaka wasn’t cutting it, plus I only had one, and both breasts leak.
I researched for a while and found the Troves as an option. I couldn’t decide between Trove and Haaka Ladybug until I saw someone else’s review that said the Trove is better because it provides mild suction whereas the Ladybug just catches the letdown. I wanted some suction but not over the top; decided to try the Troves.
I love them! Overnight they became a must-have essential! I take them with me every time I get up from not having fed for about an hour. You would be so surprised how much milk you get just from using these- like one Lansinoh bag full a day (technically over-filled because it’s beyond the maximum limit line on the bag).
The only thing I need to work on is not spilling them sometimes. They do stand up I their own but I’ve found that laying them flat on their stomach on the table minimizes the risk of spillage!
I also love that they’re easy to clean and they dry very fast on their own after being washed. Great value for the money and such a helpful product. Think of all the wasted milk before I found these!
Love these; will recommend to every breastfeeding mom I know.

Oh my word I love this product! No more crying over spilled milk! I was using the Haakka to collect leakage on my other breast while nursing or pumping and I can’t tell you how many times I would accidentally knock it off or baby would kick it and the suction would be lost and bam there’s milk all over the floor. I LOVE the design because it fits in your bra and I no longer have to worry about it being knocked off. The price is super reasonable I may even get another pair. I also appreciate the pourability of the design. I feel like I truly get every drop out of it that’s been collected. The suction is nice as well, not too aggressive like I felt the Haakka was at times.AND because of its design is directly over the nipple , I feel like every drop actually falls in the container instead of some of it dripping off and making a big mess. My only complaint about this product is that if you’re big chested you have to use your bra to keep it in place. Just attaching it to your breast isn’t enough, it will and does fall off. But the positives of this product totally out way the one negative. Definitely worth the investment mommas! Totally recommend!

I have several different milk collectors, and this is the best one! My goal is to collect leaking milk hands-free from the other side while breastfeeding my baby.
Haakaa Original: It’s too long and hits the baby’s head, making it impossible to use.
Haakaa Ladybug: It has very weak suction, and most of the time, I need to hold it. If you’re wearing a nursing bra, this won’t be a problem. However, I prefer lying down and being topless during feeding.
This collector provides enough suction to stay secure without causing pain. It collects every drop, stands by itself, and is easy to pour out by following the arrow.
Cons: Because it’s one piece, it requires more care to wash and dry. I use clean cloths and 70% ethanol to sterilize and dry it. The Ladybug has the same problem and is even harder to clean.

I bought this to try out as I couldn’t make the Haaka manual pump work for me and baby. The shape was awkward to have attached on the other side while nursing and baby would kick it off often. The Boon Trove, however, is amazing! I’m getting so much let down milk collected that it’s surprising me! You do have to practice to get the suction, but I find that once I do and I put it firmly inside my bra, the suction stays. It’s really easy to clean even though it’s one piece of silicone. I was choosing between the Haaka Ladybug and the Boon Trove to try, and based on others’ reviews, I chose the Boon Trove and I’m so happy I did!
