4 stars not 3 because, for the price it’s pretty good.
4 stars not 5, because a part of me thinks that they could have had a jack instead of a fixed length cable.

I purchased two of these pedals to use with a BOSS Reverb RV-6 and a TC Electronics Flashback x4.

BOSS RV-6 setup is pretty straight forward. Just plug it into the expression jack and i can increase or decrease the level of the reverb while I play without having to bend down to make the adjustment.

TC Electronics Flashback x4 is waaaay trickier. So, if you buy this pedal, just keep in mind that you might have to google the correct steps for using the expression pedal the way you would like. In my case, I wanted to use it to increase the level of the delay. In order to do that I had to 1) zero the time on the flashback 2) set pedal to the maximum position and then make adjustments to both the feedback and level to what I want them to be at the maximum position. 3) bring pedal to lowest position, ZERO OUT TIME again, and make adjustments to both the feedback and level to what you want them to be at the lowest position (in my case the level all the way off). LASTLY- use the tap tempo to set the desired timing AND THEN save the settings to the desired switch.

This works great for me now to be able to use the pedal to add some delay and/or reverb as I’m playing or to take it out completely just with the expression pedals alone.

A proven product (I have two others in use and added this as a third). Smooth operation for continuous control. Just be sure the dial on the side is set to 0, otherwise you will not be able to turn down the element you are controlling to its zero value.

After purchasing a problematic EX-P by M-Audio which was returning ghost values and altering my presets on the fly without warning (quite troublesome), Arturia confirmed the pedal was defective by the ghost MIDI CC notes that were being captured. Amazon was kind enough to accept the return. I shopped around for several days inquiring about specs. Arturia stated the ohms should fall between 10-25. I wrote Roland / Boss they replied with: “The EV-30 uses a 2x separate 10 kΩ potentiometer for expression pedal control.
You should be able to operate the EXP IN on your external device if it is compatible with an expression pedal rated for 10-25 kΩ. “
Though more expensive, you get what you pay for. Built like a brick. This ultimately solved the issues and couldn’t be happier. An excellent durable pedal. Images attached.

Well built. Works exceptionally well. Love having two outputs. Gigging with it in a few hours. A great addition to my delay and tremolo pedals.

I got this to use with a BOSS pedal (BOSS syb-5) and it works perfectly. I like the feel of it under my foot. Good stuff.

Ce matériel est le même depuis des années, acheté en remplacement de la même pédale d’expression tombée en panne dernièrement après environ 20 ans d’utilisation. Donc rien de particulier à signaler.

This pedal works with a variety of hardware and software. There’s no polarity switch, so make sure it’s compatible with the keyboard, synthesizer, MIDI controller, guitar pedal, etc., which you plan on using it with. I recommend first using with a known parameter, such as controlling Volume to first learn how the knob works on the side to set the range. Turn the knob too far and nothing will happen, leaving you thinking it’s not working. If on an iOS device, I highly recommend you get MIDI Wrench (FREE in the App Store) and you should see CC#11, letting you know the pedal has been recognized. You’ll also see Value: (and a number) showing the position in the sweep. At Value: 127 I was getting no sound but I knew the pedal was at least recognized. It wasn’t until I backed the knob down to 0 that I saw a full sweep (Values can range from 0 to 127). The setup can be tricky and fool you into thinking it’s not working. Be patient and use a simple device or plugin to learn how the pedal works. Once you get it set and working the way you want, you will wonder why you never got it sooner!
See the manual for your device or plugin. Some might use CC#7, but that’s not something you should have to set manually. Just use MIDI Learn and save yourself a headache.
Yes, I would buy it again.
    Hope that helps!

lo mejor de este pedal de expresión es que puedes conectar dos pedales !!!!!!

This is the classic. This is my second one of these. I have been using the first one that I’ve owned since the mid-1990s and it’s still going strong. I just needed another one for a backup keyboard setup. I decided to go with the tried and true old reliable to last me another 25+ years. Yep!
