This is an awesome looper pedal. Stereo, long loops, lots of programmable tracks, can connect to your computer to upload and download tracks, with a built-in drum machine. You’ll get plenty of use from this pedal.

We have the bigger version of this and love it as well as this compact looper. It’s so much fun to play with Boss looping pedals or delays. It never matters that we can’t recreate a sound, but we’re not pros so for us it’s perfect to just tap and record different phrases and layer weird stuff and keep going. Works with anything you can put a guitar cord into!

This is a great pedal. A bit of a learning curve at first but once you get it it’s easy. Make sure to turn the rhythm tracks in each memory slot you’re going to use down to under 50%, I went down to around 30%. They default to 100% which Is extremely loud.

This is a great little looper that has really helped my practice and timing. Steep learning curve to work it out but there are a bunch of YouTube videos to help and you can find the manual online. There’s nothing in the box to help you to get started. Using the fs 6 for pedal with it really helps. A few reviews on here complain about the backing track being too loud and potentially damaging equipment. It can be turned down. You just need to take the time to work out all of the settings. I’m an intermediate player just getting in to soloing and scales and this is a great tool to lay a backing track and jam over. I’m still working it out but I love it. Built like a brick shit house like all of the boss pedals. I use rechargeable 9v batteries to save on cords and having to buy the boss power supply

Previous models were good, but this one is the best yet for a feature-rich compact looper pedal.
Pair this up with either a Boss FS-7/FS-7 or a midi switch that can handle 4-10 options (like the MIDI Captain from PAINTAUDIO) and this thing is dynamite!

Upgraded from an RC-1 and the drum machine is a game changer!
Wish I could program the drums externally and import them into the pedal, but alas.. at least the drum patterns and kits sound pretty good!
Although the pedal advertises the ability to upload backing tracks into the pedal to play along with, if you’re running this into an amp (which you probably are), any straight .wav backing track is gonna sound pretty terrible! You can kind of get away with uploading and playing back drum loops, however.
The digital screen is pretty awesome, but you’ll still need the manual handy to make sense of the features! Also, you can name your loops, but typing in this thing is a pain and there’s no way to do it externally, as far as I know.

This is my first attempt at using a looper playing mostly acoustic and occasional electric guitars. Super clean sound. Totally NOT worth using with battery power for any meaningful length of time. I’m lucky to get 1 hour before the ‘low battery” indicator kicks on. Having 99 memory storage locations was the main reason I purchased this over the RC-1. I can save any music track or sound file to one of the memory banks and cue it up as needed. This looper function itself is easy enough with the single foot switch on the box. You can easily add an external MIDI foot switch controller to customize things and get away from the single pedal, double stomp/ single stomp routine. If I get any good at looping, I’ll probably upgrade to multi-track. For now, this was at a price point for me to experiment with a single track unit and see how it goes.
