I have had a hairy upper lip since I was about 5. Yes, FIVE. Imagine starting kindergarten with a mini mustache. Over the years, I’ve tried everything: bleaching (hello, blonde mustache), laser removal (expensive and ineffective), micro shaving (hello, 5 o’clock shadow), and even using tweezers to pluck each hair out one by one (tedious and painful). Fast forward to now, I’m a 32-year-old woman, and guess what? I’ve finally found the solution to my 25-year-old problem: this magical epilator!

Just bought my 3rd Braun epilator. The first one wore out years ago, so I replaced it with an earlier version of Silk-epil 9. That one is getting a little sluggish, so decided to update with ‘new and improved’ version.
So far, so good. But I do have one beef–The box and manual indicate 3 attachments are included, the shaver, the skin contact cap and the facial cap. But there is no facial cap. I called Braun, who said that is just the way this particular model is packaged. Not a deal breaker for me, but I think the advertising should have better disclosure. The box contains the epilator, the shaver, the skin contact cap, a small cleaning brush and a little drawstring bag. Glad I didn’t return it to Amazon because of a missing part.
