All my cats are obsessed with the wand. It’s their favorite toy by far and they last forever!!!

My cat loves this toy. It’s long and there’s plenty of it for him to attack even if he’s ‘caught’ the tip. You can make it wiggle a bunch and it really catches his attention.
Zhenne Pengel –
My cats go crazy for this thing, and I find the best way to grab their attention is to wiggle the stick back and forth to make it appear like a snake. Slowly walk with it to imitate a slither across the ground and get it outside of the cat’s view like around a corner. They’ll creep towards it, then pounce!
There might not be a better toy for the money if your cat likes fabric toys. Just make sure not to dangle it directly in their face because they don’t find it challenging usually.

Un peu cher certes
Mais franchement la qualité est là. Alors entre moins cher qui casse et plus cher qui tient face à toute l énergie de mon chaton. Je recommande le.produit pour sa qualité et sa longévité. Et en plus approuvé par Mister chat !

Bought one for my cat and one for my daughters. Both cat get frustrated with toys, especially electronic or noisy. This toy is perfect. It’s soft, easy for them to grab and pull…. A must you especially for the bored or finicky cats

A mi gato le encanta jugar con el listón. Es de buena calidad el material, es como polar, se le pegan un poco la pelusa pero se limpia fácilmente.

My cat has a lot of mental energy & aggressive drive, & she gets bored with really toys fast. She’s hard to buy for because once she’s figured a toy out, she stops playing with it altogether, & she wants to move on to something else more challenging. And when I bought her one of these for Christmas this year – she finally found one.
I had a feeling my cat would like this, but I didn’t realize how much or for how long. She plays longer with this Cat Charmer than she does with anything else she has (with the one exception of her TurboScratcher) – at perhaps 45-90 minutes per play session. My arms tire out, before she does. She is an indoor cat & a redomesticated feral stray who really needs a good outlet for aggressive energy & apartment boredom, & she’s found one in this toy. Whenever she sees it, she wants to play with it. If I dance around the room with it like that Red Hot Chili Peppers video “Give It Away Now” – she is awestruck & goes wild. She chases it in the air, over the floor, across the furniture, & it is a long time before she ever gets bored. For her, that is a real change of pace. This toy may be great for inspiring exercise sessions in cats who are managing weight issues & become reluctant to play.
One nice feature about this toy is its wand is made of a really hard, translucent material that is resistant to teeth marks & breaks. If she accidentally gets a hold of it in her mouth, the wand isn’t badly marred like her other wand toys. The rubber attachment that holds the bunting material to the wand is more fragile, however, so I don’t let my cat chew it because her teeth will tear it apart. You know those kids in grade school who loved to chew pens…? That’s my cat, & she can’t be left to her own devices with wands.
If I could though, I’d give it 4.5 Stars because at this time, the customer cannot choose the color of their Charmer. They really need to add a color option. The ad pictures feature several different rainbow Charmers, pink & purple ones, & a lot of lovely colors. For my order, however… I think the Whole Healthy Pets’ fulfillment dept. saw I lived in the Southwest, & decided to send me “Fiesta” colors….. Mine has a lot of heavy black, deep crimson, lemon yellow, cheesy orange, & lime green, with hints of royal blue…on a blue wand. I personally hate these colors – & most of them are colors my cat can’t see anyways (cats see greens & blues, & the rest register as shades of gray). Maybe guys might like these sporty colors. Dunno. However, because of the stark, discordant contrast between these many loud, dark, clashy colors – I think this item looks like “a continually moving ‘pile of stuff’, whipping about in an endlessly moving stream” – & for her, that works. What I don’t like about it may be why she finds it so stimulating. So my one complaint is she likes it better than I do, & I would have chosen nicer looking colors to match my place.
Overall… Unlike so many I’ve bought, this toy was well worth the money. I really hate the colors, but my cat loves it – & it was a huge hit & not a dud gift this Christmas.
WORD OF CAUTION:
You WILL have to SUPERVISE your cat while playing with this toy! Do NOT leave your cat alone with it, unattended. I cannot stress this enough. My cat is pretty good about not eating inedible objects, but my last cat was a Nightmare – “foreign object ingestion” was his passion, & if left alone with this, he’d have made it his primary goal in life to eat it, & would have been in surgery at the vet to have it removed within 24 hours. No joke. So please store this toy in a *safe place* where your cat cannot get to it, when you’re not playing together. I hang mine up high across over-the-door clothes hooks, where I’ll see it all the time, know exactly where it is, & it reminds me to spend time with my cat playing with it.

My cat loves this toy. She loves it when I swirl it really fast as I walk around the room and guide her up her cat tower or other high places and she eventually catches it in her mouth. She keeps it in her mouth and walks very proudly around the room with me holding the wand and eventually drops it and quickly steps on it with her paw until I shake it free. She’s usually breathing pretty hard after 20 minutes or so, but never wants to stop playing. Great toy!
Abishag –
My cat has gone through 2 of these in 5 years. He loves it, it performs well, it’s a lot of fun to play with him and the wand and it’s quiet. An inexpensive toy that is very durable and your cat will love it.
Anariel Anastil –
My cat is profoundly weird as it is possibly the only cat who doesn’t go nuts over a laser pointer, so toys for him are a little hard to come by. But this toy is practically a worship object for him. He ADORES this thing. He goes crazy when I bring it out, and he has started to find all my hiding spots, so he drags it out all on his own to play with it. I make sure I pin it down with something heavy if I leave the room. This is a supervised toy.
You’d think a stick with a string wouldn’t be that fascinating, but when I slide it tantalizingly across the ground in agonizing slow motion, he literally can’t stand it. Must. Attack. Now. He pounces so hard he invented carpet sliding. His record is about a foot.
This is a great little toy, because it is made from soft (super soft) felt, so you don’t have to feel bad if you whack your cat (or an innocent bystander). It’s sort of like a whip, so this is bound to happen. Actually, my cat prefers to get hit in the face with it. It just slides over his head between his ears, and he flips over on his back in a frantic lunge. Must Bite. Must Chew. Must Annihilate! It’s seriously adorable to watch. The plastic stick on the end is really light weight, so your arm doesn’t get tired until about the hour mark. Extended playtime.
Concerns about tangling and knotting can be cast aside. My cat enjoys getting tangled up in it and just laying down with it around him, but the felt slides. Just a little tug and the network of string he’s created around his paws comes undone without any knotting. Again, though, this is a supervised toy. I would not recommend leaving your cat alone with it. It is hard to get tangled permanently because of the slipping felt (a great, great feature), but there is the chance (however remote) it can wrap around the cat’s neck. So if you let him play with it by himself just keep a close eye.
The only problem I have found is my cat has all of his claws, so occasionally he snags one of them in the fabric. The problem fixes itself, though, because of the sturdiness of the felt. It is a tight, sturdy material, so there’s no fraying to make the snag permanent. When snagging does happen, my cat has figured out he’s just digging in too hard, so he lets go. Nothing actually gets stuck stuck, just caught for a split second.
Not only is the felt sturdy, but so is the stick it’s attached to. The string is attached with a rubber cover piece, and my cat has yanked on it for all he’s worth. The thing hasn’t budged. This toy is going to last for a long time.
All in all, it is amazing and totally worth the price. A must buy for any cat owner. You will get hours of entertainment.
