First off, this is my 2nd Centerpoint and I’m very pleased with both of them. This bow has some punch to it. What ever you hit with it, is definitely gonna know it. Easily shoots through a deers shoulder blade and gets to the old pumping station and takes care of business. Easy to put together and took maybe 10 minutes. Good quality and at the price point, it’s the best bow on the market. I easily shoot really tight groups at 100 yards with mine. I did put the Burris Oricle X scope on it from the start as I’m a prolific hunter and wanted this crossbow to be the last bow I buy. Buddys that come hunt that don’t have a crossbow always use my old Centerpoint Sniper 370. They always comment how much they like it. Then they shoot my Amped 425 and are blown away. I did get the Centerpoint cocking device and wow, now more cocking rope. I’m a disabled veteran in a wheelchair, and the combination of the Amped 425 + Burris Oricle X + Centerpoint Cocking device = more meat in my freezer. It’s also rather deadly combination on our coyote population.

First of all showed up damage! The items that were damage was the bolts and the scope. Secondly, has a major safety flaw the rope Cocker’s will get caught under the scope and not allowed to be cock or unload. Listed at 195 pound draw weight feels like 220 pound draw or more. As far as the original packing showed up to be in good looking condition, my best guess would be the stuff was shipped by the manufacture damaged. For an entry-level bow from Center point I would’ve expected more pride in the product they’re selling.

Centerpoint amped is a great crossbow. It’s powerful and affordable. The effort needed to cock it to fire is pretty hard (200lbs). Other than that it is a very good starter crossbow.

Had this since Christmas 2022. Used last year minimal. My some and I pulled out to get ready for season. He will be able to hunt in about 4weeks. The “plastic hook” for the draw rope snapped when it was almost locked in causing a dry fire and nearly took 3 fingers off my hand. Not sure if he will ever NOT be afraid to pull it back ever again.

upgraded from a 10 year old barnett crossbow. happy with my choice. the bow itself feels good quality, i installed a vortex crossbow scope which i already had, and with black eagle .001 arrows i was able to do about 2″ at 60 yards and thats non spine indexed factory arrows, so id easily call it worth 350.

free included scope is not great, which you should expect of a free included scope on anything that isnt high price range, many spend more than this on just a scope. regardless the bow itself is easily worth the price and capable of high level accuracy and good velocity. when you can just upgrade to a good illuminated and speed adjustable scope and give it good arrows and it will likely outperform most ready to go setups of the same total price.

Bad enough this thing kept getting sent one place to another in my town twice.
    It also came broken.
Just a tip off the hand guard but it should not have been sent out that way.
All in all It was only 2 days late.
Easy build. Haven’t fired it yet

First crossbow I will be keeping (tried the Barnett wildcat recurve, had it replaced and the replacement was bad as well) and it hasn’t disappointed. Accurate and powerful. Regarding the power, be careful, it punches through both sides of my 425fps target at 30 yes (and will probably at longer ranges as well). I have destroyed 2 arrows. One went through my 425fps target at 30 yds and embedded itself 2 inches into a tree and broke when trying to remove. The other was at 20 yards when it went so deep the vanes embedded inside the bag and got mangled when trying to remove. Sucks to lose those arrows but it’s a testament to its power. Noise seemed less than the Barnett wildcat, but shouldn’t matter as its speed and power are excellent. Its alittle hefty but that’s fine. Will try and update as I use it more and for hunting.

Assembly was easy enough (watch assembly video online) shooting it was nerve wrecking at first (first time owning and shooting a crossbow) pulling it back with the rope it comes with is very difficult you’ll definitely want a crank.
I think for what you pay for it’s not bad. No damage, no delays in delivery everything it says it comes with was there . I really don’t have anything bad to say about it, it’s going to be just fine for someone who wants to hunt with a crossbow.

I definitely recommend, my only words of advice, get a hand crank and shoot close until it’s properly sighted in.
