CERAKOTE Ceramic Headlight Restoration Kit – Lasts Lifetime

My headlights didn’t look as bad as some other peoples, because my car only has 54,000 miles, but it was still a 12 year old car and the lights were quite foggy at night ( looks worse at night than here), making it difficult to drive and especially turn at night. I brought my car to my mechanic and he said just get a kit on Amazon and do it yourself, otherwise it’ll cost you hundreds, so I did lol. After reading many reviews I decided on this product. It was quite easy to do … I’m 73 with osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia, so if I can do it so can you, it really didn’t take much to sand. I followed the instructions perfectly and watched several videos with product beforehand. The whole process was simply and I was thrilled it’s the results. I have 2 before/ 2 after pics here, even though my lights weren’t horrendous, there’s a huge difference. Here’s the one issue I had…. Even though I was putting pressure into sanding, in some areas I felt like the sandpaper given wasn’t “ catching”. When I felt like it was, cloudy water would come off like on the videos. When I felt it wasn’t, no cloudiness came off. These are both very fine sandpapers and if I have to redo in future, I will definitely buy a rougher sandpaper to do the first sanding, then finish with the 2 sandpapers like the instructions. This way I think I won’t run into that problem and I can be sure I got off more oxidation and original coating. I’m ok with that because the kits so cheap for what it does, I just wish the kit had had a rougher third sandpaper to start with. Otherwise I would have given this product 5* for the results for sure. Time will tell how long it lasts, lots of people say 1-3 years, not lifetime. I’m ok with that too since kit is cheap and it takes very little time to restore it. A thought…since headlight restoration is pricy professionally, a responsible older teen could make a nice little business out of doing this at maybe $75 to restore headlights, making about $55 profit for an hours work! Just a thought!

Amazing product, was told by detailers headlights can be polished but cannot guarantee it will improve much and was quoted 440 aed. Decided to try this kit and headlights looked brand new. Will definitely recommend this product.

Super easy to apply. The first step is just taking the step 1 wipes and wiping off all the nasty stuff that has built up over the years. The second step is sanding off all the stuff that the step one wipes didn’t remove. The 3rd step is where the magic happens. If you watch the video from the maker of the wipes you will think it is fake but it is not!!!! It made my head light lenses look just as good as new. Plus, when I went to work the next morning (2:30 am) the beam from the headlights were so clear and crisp. I love this product!!!! I just applied it 3 weeks ago so I can’t tell you if it will last the life of the vehicle like they claim. But even if it lasts 6 months, it is so cheap and easy to do, it’s worth it. I 100% recommend using this product.
