Great for car camping for larger individuals. I’m rather athletic and over 6′ so it is nice to have a larger sleeping bag to spread out in.
The mummy hood is rather awkward in most cases, but the material is flimsy enough that it isn’t obnoxious unless the zipper is zipped all the way up.
The real win in this design is the feet zipper. Being able to open the base of the bag up and put my feet out during warmer nights is luxury after a long day of exertion.
The bag is very bulky and I wouldn’t recommend it for overnight hikes.
For a base camp at the trailhead or for car/RV camping, I loved it.
I bought several bags to try at once and ended up using this one over 20 nights of traveling and car camping.
The stuff sack is trash. Trying to get the bag back in was always a 5 minute effort. I expected the stuff sack to tear every single time – but somehow didn’t…
Great warm weather bag (or cooler weather if you’re a hot sleeper) with cheap feeling materials that is very comfortable to sleep in.

Warm at 10C but fabric does not breath anywhere near as well as down, so I often found myself overheating (wore 2 thin wool shirts, 1 spring/autumn pants). Had I worn slightly less I would have been too cold to sleep. Had I worn slightly more I would stay overheated. I regulated temperature with a jacket on top of the sleeping bag which made significant difference.
foot box is plenty spacious, I love the colors. Zipper from outside is good, inside is a struggle.
I like the walrus teeth flaps, however the insulation material being the same- it does not breath well.
Storage bag is too small and a bit fragile / thin, straps are too short, sleeping bag material does not compress easily like down.
I feel like there’s too many compomises to keep this sleeping bag even though price is very good. I do hope there are improvements in the future.

I really liked this bag. Its a great size, fit me perfectly (6’0, 170lbs) and I was so so so comfortable in it. My only qualm with it was its weight and size since I wanted a backpacking bag. Otherwise this one did the trick, would recommend.

This sleeping bag is a huge improvement from the 20 year old sleeping bag I was original using. I find it quite spacious despite it being mummy style (I’m F, 5’5 and around 190lbs). So far I’ve only tested it at about 10°C and it kept me warm enough, but I would definitely make sure I’m wearing warm clothes and socks for anything lower than that.
This is definitely not a backpacking sleeping bag as it’s quite big and heavy but so far it’s been perfect for casual camping.
Perfect, that is, aside from the stuff sack that came with the sleeping bag. You would think that with the intention of a stuff/compression sack to be large enough to comfortably fit in whatever it’s for, to then compress down, that Coleman would give you quite a large compression sack for this…. Wrong. The stuff sack is infuriatingly useless after you first take the sleeping bag out, as you can hardly fit it back in, let alone compress it down any smaller. After fighting with it twice I ended up throwing it out and buying an XL compression bag to use instead.
So my advice is to buy an XL or XXL compression sack along with this and save yourself the hassle.

Zipping this closed in my living room for the first time after receiving the package, and the zipper jammed up, lost grip on one side, and can’t be reset. I didn’t even know zippers could be one time use.

Amazing sleeping bag. Size; I brought XL & being 5’8″/185lbs I have plenty of room to twist / turn. Warmth; no heat in RV, 22 degrees for a few days & never felt chill inside the bag. Climb in the bag at 9:30pm & comfortable until 7am wakeup. I must have read reviews for 50 sleeping bag, extremely happy with this purchase.

Tested out a couple weeks ago where temp was just at 20°F. I’m a cold sleeper and I felt a slight chill at feet and legs, but warm everywhere else. I’m 6’3″, wide shoulders, and size is plenty. With a little more preparedness in clothes layering I think I would have fared much better. One annoyance was the Velcro flap for top of zipper. Had to really fuss during the night reaching around to free it from it’s anchor point and pull over zipper to keep it from unzipping, which is it’s purpose and performed fine after all the fussing. Personally don’t think the extra strip of Velcro to keep the flap out of the way is even necessary. I ended up putting a blank strip of Velcro over with non lock side out so I don’t have to release the flap each time I want to place it over the zipper. Otherwise very pleased with the bag, especially the roominess and ability to turn without the whole bag moving with you.
