This is a great quality tent. When it says it can fit six people comfortably, well yes if you want to be side by side then you will all fit. I would say three people would be comfortable. Then you would have some room to walk around and even put like a couple of tables in there. Definitely get a bigger size bag… there are a lot of strong canvas type bags on Amazon… cause it’s hard to get back in the bag that it comes in. I do this with a lot of things that are expertly packed. This way you’re not going to be struggling to pack it back in perfectly.

I want to be perfectly clear and say this is a great Coleman tent. It’s an awesome size and 4 large adults can sleep comfortably with PLENTY of room between. However, it does not hold up to elements like I would think it should. I would not recommend using this for excess rain or wind. Meaning, use this for somewhere outside of the PNW. Yes, it does moisture wick, but the “wicking” part ends. It does set up rather quickly, nd break down is a breeze.

I recently used the Coleman Evanston Tent with Screen Room on a camping trip, and it was fantastic! Setting it up took less than 15 minutes, which was a huge plus, especially after a long day. The screen room is a great feature for keeping bugs out while enjoying some fresh air. The tent is spacious, easily fitting 6 people with plenty of room to move around. It held up well in rain too—completely weatherproof, and the included rainfly did its job perfectly. I also appreciate that it’s made with PFAS-free materials. This is a great tent for family camping trips!

This tent is a very nice tent, it is easy to set up and take down. The screen tent is nice because you can store your bags and shoes in there so that you have more room inside the tent. It’s tall enough to stand up in and bigger than I expected it to be. There is a girl at scouts that always shares a tent with my daughter so figured I would get her a bigger tent. All the zippers work smoothly and it packs up pretty decent back into the bag, bag could be a little bit bigger, but I have definitely had smaller.

The Coleman Evanston Tent with Screen Room, 6/8 Person Weatherproof Tent Sets Up in 15 Mins, Included Rainfly & Carry Bag, Made of PFAS-Free Materials is great.
The tent is well made, all materials seems to be of good quality and there is enough room for 6 adults be very comfortable. This tent has a good quality and is not disposable like some others I have used in the past.
I don’t have a lot of experience in setup tents, but I was able to put it together in around 30 minutes – the hard time I had was to disassembly the tent and make it fit back inside the bag. The storage bag could be bigger. I am happy with the purchase and recommend it, 5 stars.

Decent construction. Shock corded poles run through a sleeve design. Small attached screen room is big enough for two adults to sit with compact chairs. This is a good entry level tent for a small family.

I was really excited about this product. It carries the Coleman name, which promises a quality product. The design is great, I love the screen room, the half shell shape, and the vented side windows. It is very spacious though I am on the fence about 6/8 “persons” I can’t see it fitting that many 6 adults comfortably, so be mindful of your use case. I cannot overstate how easy the setup is. It took me longer to remove it from its packaging than it did to set the tent up.
Now the bad, I was disappointed with the material. The material is very thin. I would compare it to the thinnest tarp from your average home repair store. While the frame may be listed as being able to handle 35 miles per hour winds. The polyester shell seems a bit suspect. I consider myself a moderate camper and I am on the fence about taking this on my next trip.
This tent is great for someone who doesn’t plan on camping a lot. It would be perfect for a backyard kids’ tent. It is something your kids could hang out in during the summer months. Which is likely the targetted use case. I can see this product being used for sleep overs where 6-8 kids could comfortably fit without issue.

Fast set up. I like that the poles are encased. I saw some others saying that the bag is too small, but there is a panel on the bottom you need to remove that allows the bag to expand at the bottom.
The zippers glide nice without sticking. I’m a bit concerned about using this in temps cooler than 60ish deg because the wind does get through just a bit. I would recommend adding a rain guard spray because I feel it could be just a bit more water proof. Over all a good tent. I love that it has a screened in area for hanging out.
