The headset is severely limited in how much it can adjust its size and so it cannot reach my ears completely. The wireless connectivity is so extremely bad that there is no connection more often than there is a connection. By a significant margin. You just get to listed to audio for a few seconds then BEEP BOOP disconnected. Wait 5-10 seconds. BEEP BEEP connected. few seconds of audio then BEEP BOOP again.

These headphones sound great once you get them configured. Very easy to connect with the dongle, which is the best way to connect to them since you can use the app to configure a custom sound environment. The setup includes a hearing test. Long battery life between charges, comfortable, and pretty decent range. Good value for the money.

First, the Corsair HS80 Max headset is the most comfortable headset I have had. The weight is nice but the earpads are so soft yet firm enough to hold in place. The Bluetooth is easy to connect. I am using them with a transmitter for my TV so it is an automatic pairing to nearby devices. Connects right up, no problems. The sound is absolutely fantastic. I like it better than my sound bar and my wife likes me using these instead of the soundbar a lot.One charge last forever. I only charged when I opened them before first use and a week later still going strong.

the corsair headset is a great headset to use while gaming. The mic picks up my voice while keeping the noises in my background to a low. It is easy to setup and the battery lasts for a long time. The head strap is also adjustable but not the frame part. It also has rgb lighting that glows while in use which is a nice touch

Best part of this headset is the microphone. It picks up your voice perfectly clear. The sound quality is pretty good but you might find it a little lacking if you play games like rainbow six siege, footsteps weren’t as easy to locate than some other headsets.

Bluetooth connectivity is excellent, sound quality is perfection, the headphones are comfortable and easy to adjust. Yes, I like these headphones. The material is a good quality plastic and the foam for the ear covers is comfortable and easy to clean. The weight of the headset is a nice balance so you know it’s there but doesn’t feel heavy at all.
My only qualm with this set is I can’t find anyway to connect it to an xBox, but it works great on PC as well as connecting to a phone. I am not able to try it on a PS5.
Overall a great headset with excellent sound and connectivity for a reasonable price.

The HS80 max headset’s quality, in terms of the material used, feels like the premium deserving for its higher end pricing. I had reservations for the thin hinge that connects the speakers to the headband, but my worries quickly evaporated when I tested them by twisting it around, and bending it a bit. They’re made of a hard plastic I couldn’t tell you the name of but, I wouldn’t be worried to drop them and have it break.
The microphone is alright for a gaming headset, your bros on discord and in games will hear you just fine, but nothing spectacular, and definitely not broadcast quality. Simply, they get the job done. I appreciate the headset’s long battery life, 65 hours+ based on settings, and a quick recharge of 1.5 hours through USB-C. The main reason I got this headset was because of its long battery life, though, it doesn’t come close to the Hyper X Cloud III’s 300 hour battery life.
This leads me to the point why I’d choose the HS80 over something like the Hyper X Cloud III’s, personalization. The headset is can easily integrate to the iCUE Corsair Ecosystem, which is nice since I own many other corsair products, keeping my set up a similar theme. Through the iCUE software, you can select a personalized audio setup, that fits your hearing ranges. Furthermore, it can also control the RGB lights on headset, giving you a choice of going with the gaming aesthetic, with magical unicorn rainbow farts, or a more stealth approach.
The headset also comes with the Dolby Atmos surround sound, taking advantage of the advance drivers in the headset, it provides an excellent audio experience, enhancing everything from gaming to movies.
There are some downsides to the headset, I find the velcro strap adjustment system to the headset suspension band to be annoying to get right, compared to a traditional adjustment system. Furthermore, I’m worried about the longevity of the velcros in the strap from constant readjustments. The stock earmuffs uncomfortable, and puts pressure on my larger sized ears. I plan to replace them with a third party ear muffs to see if they will fix the comfortability issue. The last issue I have with the HS80 is the microphone when flipped up to mute, is irritating to my hair. It’s bendable, so when you move your head around, the microphone also moves around, tussling with your hair.
All in all, the headset is a premium headset worth its price. The reservations I have with it are not ones that would jeopardize someone from enjoying them, or is hopefully fixable.

This is a very good quality gaming headset that I would definitely recommend to anyone. The build quality is very good, they are very comfortable, the sound quality is great especially with Dolby Atmos. Bluetooth connection is very nice and is much better than dealing with a wired headset. Overall it is a great headset that is definitely worth the price.
