Bought this to flush the power steering fluid in my 2013 Porsche Cayenne S. Immediately I felt a difference in the steering feel, it lightened up at low speeds, and stiffened up at high speeds. Was shocked I felt a difference. Now, I will aleast add power steering fluid flush to my list of maintenance items on any vehicles I own with hydraulic power steering.

I’ve been using the Pentosin 8403107 CHF 202 Synthetic Hydraulic Fluid for a while now, and it’s been a fantastic choice for my vehicle’s hydraulic system. This fluid offers smooth, consistent performance, especially in extreme temperatures, where cheaper alternatives tend to fall short.
The 1-liter size is perfect for topping up your system without having to buy too much at once. It’s fully synthetic, which means you can count on it to last longer between changes and reduce wear on the hydraulic components.
Overall, Pentosin CHF 202 is a high-quality fluid that keeps everything running smoothly. It’s a bit pricier than some alternatives, but in terms of performance and longevity, it’s definitely worth it!

I was able to save a bunch of money using the CHF 202 to change the power steering fluid in my son’s 2003 Volvo S60. He was experiencing stiff turning. The dealership and the national oil change places were asking around $70 to change the power steering fluid.
We used a big syringe to take out the old, dirty fluid and measured it (about 500 ml). So, I poured 500 ml of the CHF 202 in and had my son drive his car around the block a few times after which we again took out the fluid, which was about 70% cleaner. We used the rest of the CHF 202 fluid to refill his power steering and he reported the steering was smooth as butter.
All you need is this CHF 202 and a big medical syringe like this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00N2EMZB8/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_37

Great value, works well and helped maintain my equipment.

MY car came with Pentosin CHF 11S in the power steering but was low and toped it off with Pentosin CHF 202. The specs are almost identical but the 202 is ever so bit thicker(?). Some say it is much thicker in the cold, but it feels the same to me. So, I have a mix of the CHF 202 and CHF 11S in my power steering and it is working fine. I will pump out and fill with remaining CHF 202 since I have so much left and have no other use for it. I will update if anything goes wrong.
Update: So for so good.

This stuff is great. I have a 1990 Saab 9000, only at 140k but age is age. The power steering pump is noisy as anything, and on the old fluid it felt a little grindy and inconsistent. Also made some stuttering noises. I pulled out the old fluid with a manual pump (couldn’t get the hose off due to shrinkage and bulging, if you know you know) and cycled a bit of CHF202 in. Pulled that out to flush out the last of the old fluid, then put a full helping of CHF202 inside. Immediately I notice that the pump is a bit quieter, but more noticeable is the FAR smoother steering performance I get. It drives much nicer now and the feedback through the wheel is enhanced. My saab loves it and yours will too 🙂 will update with winter performance and if i notice any leaks!

I needed to refill my convertible top hydrolic system after the cylinder rebuild. Instead of heading to the local auto parts store, I ordered here from amazon, the price was the same, yet the convenience of not driving won me over. I was concerned that the bottle could leak while in transit, but the bottle was fine, pretty sturdy metal bottle and heavy duty seal prevented leaking. the fluid itself is of good viscosity and works fine in the SSR convertible top.
