$.02 from a tuff customer. Get it. Small footprint on counter. Easy attachments. Very powerful – nut butters, tahini, hummus etc. Quick, even, easy processing – no need to keep pushing food down to process, as with my Vitamix. Removable blades – clean-up’s a snap. Noise control – no neighborhood ear protection required, as with my Ninja; my neighbors are thrilled.

had a very old food processor so this is a big step up. starts and stops quickly at full to no speed. 2 paddles are easy to press and simple. the slicing and shredding trays are easy to use and work very well. one pulse does more work than i thought. it is not very loud. i do find the deep inside corners would be nicer if they had a larger radius to make easier to clean, but not a big deal.
one thing to note. i (foolishly) plugged it in and hadn’t removed the items from inside yet. barely a bump. i was lucky and stupid. don’t plug it in until it’s cleared.
it may be expensive, but worth the cost.

The product is probably great, but I haven’t had the chance to try it because it is not adapted for the EU market. I couldn’t plug it in, so unfortunately I had to return it

No blister switches to crack and fail, all the power you need and consistent slicing. America Test Kitchen top pick, I can see why. I liked our prior Cuisinart unit but thus unit is smaller footprint and all the performance.

Well, not quite. And too bad, because that would’ve been a good thing. Odds are, that if you’re looking at the Cuisinart Pro Classic food processors you’ve caught wind that these are the flagship food processors with their roots in the 80s – probably the last decade of US Made, bullet proof manufacturing. From what I read, and now have experienced hands on, with my new Pro Classic 7 Cup, the styling is dead-on 80s, and there are hints of 80s build quality, but as a whole it’s not 80s through and through. The base, the blade, the discs, and the stem are close, and I might even say close enough, but time will really tell. The lids are better than the bowl — BUT THE BOWL, unfortunately, is just as bad as everyone has been saying. If the bowl were even up to the rigidness of the still sub-80s quality of the lids, I think I might have given this 5 stars – if not for the movement of the paddle switch. I really do like the over-all build of this food processor, even though it still falls short of its original 80s version. But, that aside, the clean design and simple functionality is a product done right. It makes sense that this is a flagship. I could imagine the larger Pro Classic sizes are probably even easier to use, with the double paddle switches on front. On my 7 cup I have to flip the paddle switch up for continuous on; a single paddle press down, like on the larger sizes, would be even more intuitive. It’s also worth noting that the movement of the paddle switch on this 7 cup is just OK; it’s not a precise and satisfying rocking and clicking into place like on a Vitamix. But, that wouldn’t be fair to compare this to that, I’m just relaying what some may want to know. This Pro Classic 7 takes a lot of pressure to click the paddle up. So much so, I could guess that I may have gotten a subpar switch (though technically not faulty). I think it’s worth adding something that I was curious about before I purchased this. In the video provided by Cuisinart, the woman demonstrating the Pro Classic 7 notes that the dough blade is included. The product details page on amazon and the kit I received do not have it. But, I thought I should relay that I’ve read that, due to the flour capacity limitation, you won’t even need the shorter dough blade for the 7 cup. And even on the larger sized Pro Classics, where you can fit more flour, America’s Test Kitchen claims that in their tests the steel blade was 15% faster. In other words, at least for dough, there is no need for the “dough” blade. Maybe there are other uses for it, I don’t know. The only and first thing I’ve made with my Pro Classic 7 is mayonnaise. And that worked on the first try. For others who’ve made mayo before, you can probably relate that it’s not always a success. This is my first time making it in a food processor. The cap on the included Flat Cover, with the small hole for doing thing exactly like making mayonnaise worked perfectly.

UPDATE (4/5/24): The bowl scratches easily. I would’ve like to have seen Cuisinart leave out the spatula and use that extra plastic for the bowl. The bowl is such a critical part of this kitchen tool.

I was given a Cuisinart food processor over 30 years ago. After the bowl cracked, my husband bought a replacement part, which made it exceptionally difficult to secure and release. It was a battle every time I used it.
I finally decided to purchase a new Cuisinart, and I regret not having done so sooner. This unit is amazing! It is quiet, yet powerful, and the bowl locks and releases with ease. I do not find it difficult to clean, but take care on the metal parts. They are quite sharp as they ought to be.
I make almost everything from scratch these days because of hazardous additives in so many store-bought items. So, my kitchen equipment get a workout.
I could not be happier and can highly recommend this product. I love this food processor.

Me encanta su color, su forma de trabajar , los discos rallan perfecto .
Es sencillo de usar, tiene gran capacidad. Lo uso para hacer salsas, picar verdura, hacer pasta. Es un aparato y una marca que desquita lo que vale.

It took me months of reading and watching videos to finally decide to buy this brand of food processor. I have not been disappointed one bit! I was really thinking I should save and get a Breville. But I made the plunge that fit my budget much better. I have made pizza dough that turned out wonderful and so fast. I make cauliflower rice all the time. It is so fast and easy. It’s definitely better to try to have your floweretts all cut about the same size. I make butter every week which is delicious and fun and I make home made peanut butter that my husband loves. I also have used it now several times for pie dough and empanada dough. It is super fast and easy and has turned out perfectly every time. It is very sturdy and doesn’t move at all on the counter while I make my dough. It also grates cheese evenly and with very little waste.. Clean up is pretty easy too. I wash it right after I use it, in hot soapy water and rinse well. The only complaint I have is that there are a couple of places that you can’t get in with a towel to dry. But I have found if I just leave it out on a towel for a few hours exposed to the air, those dry completely as well. Also, I have found that if I dry it with a tea towel it comes out shiny and new looking. I don’t use it for chopping garlic, but I tried it once and it worked. It’s just easier to do that by hand with little clean up afterward. I wanted to cover these points for you to hopefully make your decision faster than mine. It works just great and is much more budget friendly. I am very happy with my purchase.

This has made my cooking so much easier when it comes to chopping etc. I was very impressed with the dough making. I didn’t know you could do that in the food processor. I could go on and on but it’s hard to beat this brand. You get what you pay for!
