These are the best set of strings you can buy if you play in standard tuning. They feel great, bends are very smooth and they stay in tune just fine. You may want to choose something else for drop tunings, the low strings will very quickly become wet noodles as you lower the pitch.

Been on D’Addario for 20+ years now… I tried and then switched way back then because i read an article that stated D’Addario has less Iron content than other brands..,,. I am no Metal Engineer but it sounded good…lol… And now after 20+ years of use yes, they do great and are really the most cost effective… I am and have been professional and toured for many many decades now. I will ruin and or destroy a set of strings in less than 3 hours of play :-P…lol.. so D’Addario works great for me and i buy them in bulk 🙂

I love these strings! First I bought a 3 pack, this time I bought a 5 pack. 2 of my guitars have Floyd Rose’s on them. I believe that these strings make them easier to tune and help them to stay in tune a little longer. They have a little brighter tone too.
