Dory K. –
My husband prefers this brand of strings for his guitars. He says the quality is great and he likes the sound of them. They are gold in color and really look nice as well. D’Addario makes quality strings that last longer than most others. The price is great as well.
NHLarry –
Long lasting. Good value for the price.

Guitar strings are typically a personal preference. But the warmth and performance of these particular strings are fantastic. For me, it’s worth a couple of extra dollars to get the quality of sound. This generates through all of my acoustic guitars.
Chris Swimley –
Soft and great sounding. These are my go to acoustic strings!
Mister Shops Too Much –
Clean, crisp…
…and a little on the bright side.
I put these on a concert body Fender Acoustic/Electric, Mahogany with Maple top.
I don’t remember what was on it before, but I know they weren’t extra light.
These feel better already; now *that* guitar gets to be played more.
Although I have 7 guitars of varying sizes and ages, I am not a professional and so don’t change my strings as often as a professional.
With that in mind, I want to point out how this set is “coded”.
The six strings are in a single zip type bag inside the outer cardboard cover.
They are then wrapped in twos; first/second, third/fourth, fifth/sixth.
Where other strings we’ve used are typically in individual envelopes telling you what string you are opening, 10, first, E, these chuck that approach.
You will have to “mind your p’s and q’s” and pay attention, and maybe get some reading glasses….
Keep each set of two wrapped until you string them, then move on to the next two or at least have a great place to lay them out in order (just my suggestion).
Where the little brass “ball ends” are typically all different colors in other sting sets, these are black, silver or brass. The cardboard wrapper, on the inside gives you a guide as to which color is what string.
A little different eh?
In any case, they went on well (but it might be time for me to order new pegs…) and after a few snaps
in tune/out of tune, tuned up well and sound, and as I said, feel, better than what was on there.
I have a Taylor mini that has Elixers on it.
Because this concert body and the mini are so different, I can’t really compare the sound accurately except to say what I already did; clean, crisp clear, and oh, nice resonance.
Even so, at around the same price as these, the Taylor is still only gonna have Elixers on it.
While not extra light, they play that way and just work with that guitar.
Since these were just installed, I can’t comment on longevity and break resistance; if I feel these don’t provide reasonable performance in those respects, I will update this review with that info.
Nice strings, glad I ordered.
I hope this review has enabled you to make an informed purchase decision.
I rarely give an overall 5 star rating.

Sehr gut klingende Saiten
Enoc Dominguez –
Las acabo de poner en mi guitarra y tienen buen tacto y muy buen sonido, falta ver que tal son en duración, ya que otros modelos de esta marca de cuerdas en unos 3 dÃas ya están oxidadas.
