I loved the idea of this.
We used this to keep two of our dogs in a small space while we were gone.
It lasted I think a total of a day and a half.
The nails it comes with are super easy for a dog to run through then yank the whole think off the wall. Also if you have dogs that paw like we do they will rip this so easily.

LOVE this gate! The extra length let us put this in a place that was super functional and safe when in use and very discreet when not in use! Easy to use and to wipe clean! Our small dog can sleep underneath it, even when locked but keeps our toddler safe.

I used this gate to block entrances to remainder of home from living room for my 2/3 year old. This worked for the time until my son was able to realize he could run and go right through it.and it did not hold him.
That being said prior to this event it worked great, it is convenient when I do not want it in used it retracts to the walls and isn’t too noticeable.

We purchased this gate to protect our young grandchildren from falling downstairs. I was a little hesitant with a mesh gate because when our children were young, wood gates were the thing. But after I researched and received it, I was impressed. Looks very nice. Not clumsy like the old style wood gates. Easy to follow instructions. This is not flimsy. After I secured it to the wall and mounted the hooks, I pulled out the fabric mesh and locked in place. I feel very confident that our grandchildren will be safe with this gate. You also could use this gate to keep your pets out of certain areas of your home.

This baby gate is great! Rolls smoothly, feels sturdy, and is a great height. I ordered the beige but it is much more of a yellow-cream colour so if that is something you care about decor wise, might want to choose a different colour.

So this works well and was easy to install. It just won’t work for my dogs. They figured out pretty quick that they can go under it. Since it is just fabric it was easy for them to do. That is not saying it doesn’t work, it just doesn’t work for me. The one thing I will warn about is that if your animal ( dog, cat or child ) does go under it, it will mess up how the fabric lays on the roller and you have to pull it all the way out and hold on to the bottom as you allow it to retract. That really is the only real issue I have had.
