this thing is beautiful in person pictures don’t do it justice. Install was a breeze. You must drill the bed but it’s no sweat still a breeze. Once fitted this thing is Rock Solid. The View out the back of the truck it’s pretty much the same as stock even though it looks narrower from the outside but from the inside it’s the same.

i ordered one for my dads 2013 and liked the looks of it looked on Amazon and Dee Zee and it says the same part number fits 99 to present gmc and chey 2500 hd pickup. WRONG it is to wide for my 06 and the stake hole mounts are not big enough for the stake holes. though the rack is at the same height as the top of the cab the top part of the Rack partially blocks the 3rd brake light and cargo light. the cut out for the center light is entirely to big and looks odd since the lights are blocked by the top tube. dont waste your time if you have an older pickup. I will update on how it fits my dads 2013.

Everything about this rack is great. Super easy install with only a few tools required. I had to modify my bolt position to make all 4 fit correctly on my 05 GMC Sierra. Very sturdy once it’s secured down, especially with a tool box installed too. The only reason I give it a 4 star is because my rear cab brake light hides behind the top of the rack. For my specific truck model the rack isn’t quite tall enough to line up Correctly. Minor details, still Looks sleek in person though!
