I have been on a mission to find good salt drinks because I have a dysfunctional autonomic nervous system number one thing I need to do is add more salt to my diet and putting it into my food is not an option because I just think it taste terrible. I have tried liquid IV, I have trioral I can’t stand them, but my friend recommended these to me so I tried them out and they are a game changer! I put mine in a 32 ounce glass with ice and they taste great. I’m a bigger fan of the fruity ones wasn’t a huge fan of the chocolate but I think it’s an acquired taste. I highly recommend you try them and if you are in need of them for medical issues reach out to the brand because they’re they’re good at giving you a sample to try.

Salty tasting but can be diluted to give a softer salt taste, but that’s what LMNT is supposed to do. Nice flavors and this package was a sample pack so it’s a great way to try different flavors without having to buy a whole box. Disappointing that Chocolate Caramel is not one of the flavors included though. Pretty competitive in price with other electrolytes. Bought a container at my local health food store and it was a lot more expensive for less and only one flavor.

I was very interested to try these, and I love the idea of having a variety pack to try. I didn’t really care for most of the flavours (raspberry and watermelon were pretty good) and I was pretty shocked with how salty it tasted even with 32 ounces of water.
In the end, I was finding it hard to finish a whole packet.
They also seem to be pretty pricey

I heard about this product from a blogger that is on a health journey. I have been using LMNT for about 6 weeks and love how much better I feel… truly. All of my life I was the kid that got sick easily and had to sleep 10 hours a night. For years I have felt kind of groggy and not 100%. Two years ago I started eating a daily banana and felt pretty darn good, leading me to believe that I probably had a potassium deficiency. So I decided to see if this product could also help up my energy level.
In short, I feel so much better on most days. I like that I can mix my flavors as I have quite a sweet tooth that I know contributes to my lethargy. I mix the citrus with the watermelon in a glass of ice and water and sip on several glasses all day long. I mix it up fairly weak as I probably drink 4 or 5 glasses a day. I kind of experimented with how I felt after a few weeks and this seems to work for me. In between glasses I also drink more plain water. To me this tastes a bit like Crystal Light, but better. I really like the tiniest bit of salty flavor along with a kick of sweet.
Not only do I feel better, I also am sleeping less, and have had a dramatic decrease in cravings for sweet and salty foods that are not good for me. I still occasionally eat junk food but I dont think about it all the time.
People ask all the time if it tastes salty. Yes, but in a good way. Like if I make homemade vanilla frosting and add a pinch of salt to it, you taste the sweet first but then there is a tiny amount of salt that cuts the sweet flavor. I find it delicious. I no longer drink Coke or LaCroix as my ‘I have to have something’ fix. You get to control the strength of flavor and this pack is a good way to try out which flavor suits you. The watermelon is way too sweet for me but when I mix it with the citrus or the grapefruit it is a drink I love.
The powder is super fine and mixes quickly with water. I find it delicious with very cold water and ice. Easy to pack for a week away and cost wise it replaces a lot of my bad habit food and drink. After using this for weeks my brain fog is cut dramatically and I feel very hydrated.

I’m so happy I started with the sample pack. I really like the salty addition that enhances the flavors. I’ve been on the carnivore diet for 2 months and these really helped me get through the detox process. They mix in to your water and they completely dissolve leaving your water clear with no chalky taste. The only flavor that was a little weird was the chocolate flavor for your coffee. It was too salty but now that I’ve gotten used to them I want to try the Carmel one. Don’t hesitate to try it they really help keep you hydrated and give you energy to get through your day.

Love it and the flavours. Just way too pricey 🙁

Overall I enjoy the flavor. However, it does have a salty taste. Next time I’ll use 1/2 a packet.

Been seeing this brand of electolyte often so decided to finally give it a try and they really are good! (didn’t like the chocolate one much) but the others are so far so good! I find them a bit salty for me so definitely mix with the max recommendation (32 oz) which is fine as it’s great to get in a little bit more water. For me, the price point is a bit high for what you get though as I can make salty water for much cheaper and get similar benefits.

So I’ve been doing a lot of Intermittent fasting. I started with 16/8, alternate day feeding, and have basically landed on extended fasts of 3-5 days at a pop. I have a lot of weight to lose. I was a bit worried I was not getting enough electrolytes because of all the water I was drinking and some studies and info out there indicate that electrolytes are good to replace while on extended fasts. I found LMNT and read probably every article on their website. The product is a bit expensive for my taste but… the variety pack is pretty reasonably priced. They are definitely salty. 24oz is imho the least amount of water for mixing with a single pack of salts. I have cycling water bottles that hold 24oz. So I would mix it up, hork down a few big swallows and then refill to the top. 32oz is a really good idea for most people. I try to exercise while fasting and this stuff seems to have helped my “calm” that’s about the only way I can describe it. I would have 1 a day after I was at least 1 day into my fast, and it really did help with my general feeling of well being and clarity of mind.
I also have to give LMNT props, they are trying to make a buck, but not at the expense of helping people get what they need. They have a page dedicated to making your own. So you can, and I did, order your own ingredients and make your own LMNT (style formulation) drink packs. I tried my first one the other day and aside from the flavor difference it was very very similar in taste and effect it had on my fast. So kudo’s to LMNT for making an awesome product and also sharing it with folks.
The flavors are really something. My favorite being the Mango Chili. I loved that one. The Habanero one was not as good, but still tasty. I can’t bring myself to drink the Watermelon one because I’m just not a fan of Watermelon but I will probably use it next week as I’ve drank all the others lol. The Citrus is quite tasty also. The first thing I remembered thinking after my first packet was this taste like old school Gatorade. A buddy of mine and I did a several hundred mile ride quite a few years ago and we were using old school Gatorade in our hydration bottles and LMNT has the same mouth feel, it’s very drinkable, if you’re an athlete looking for electrolyte replacement this stuff is money.
The best part about this little variety pack is it’s cheap, you can try it without breaking the bank. Go check out their website and read some of their articles the science behind it is why I tried it. Very pleased.

Good variety pack. The Chili flavor was a kinda spicy for me, but I find red hot spicy. The chocolate was interesting but I’m on the fence as to if I like ke it or not. It might be an acquired taste.

Of the 8 I only wound up liking 3 – Grapefruit, Citrus, and Watermelon. So while it saved me money buying a smaller quantity to identify which flavor I like, it was overall a waste of money.
The mix disolves quickly and throughly and, for those I enjoyed, tasted great, not too salty. I appreciate the directions for the volume of water as it relates to saltiness.
However… there is absolutely no way I would buy these as I think they are grossly overpriced. The market for packeted electrolytes is too vast to pay that kind of money.
Also, people rave about these but idk how they can really tell it provides the benefits it claims??
