Very nice, comfortable, quick adjustments wirh the “air lift” part. Unfortunately, least for me. It takes up a good a mount of space. Large foot print. I made it work but had to rearrange my kit to do so. Otherwise nice piece of hardwear!
Levi Coleman –
As advertised, well-made and easy to assemble. Substantial and sturdy design. Firm yet comfortable padding on molded seat design seems to reduce my chronic back pain during and after extended playing time. Equally comfortable for the adults and the kids. Great purchase.

Despite the product photo, this throne does NOT come with the pictured back. That must be purchased separately, which the fine print reveals. The unit itself is solid as a rock. The upper portion may be removed from the folding base by loosening the appropriate clamp. It has a heavy duty chrome finish. The unit collapses/slides easily. It is very stable on an even surface, which is needed given it’s 4-leg configuration. This should not be setup on a soft surface such as grass or a deep carpet. It should be setup on a level firm/hard even surface. It swivels effortlessly. The pneumatic mechanism feels very solid and seat extends to a satisfying 28″ maximum height. For those with shorter legs, it can be adjusted to considerably less than that. The seat on this is NOT so big (as some have implied) as to substitute for your lazy-boy or quality office chair. But it’s likely to last far longer, is comfortable enough to sit on for maybe a couple of hours at a stretch and is in a league of its own as to solid quality construction capable of handling larger framed customers. When its mobility is added to these qualities, it represents a solid investment. Be sure to stick some tape or other logos on it so it can be readily identified as these DW bases/thrones are highly desirable and common among bands. You don’t want someone walking off with yours or mistaking it for their own. It comes with a 5-year warranty that does NOT cover any of the ‘soft’ parts according to the literature which arrived in the retail box. It warns the customer to keep the unit away from pipe ends and other assorted/sharp objects. The seat is covered by a viny/plastic material that will not breathe well, but will clean easily. It would be ideal for an easel artist, musicians, or computer chair that doesn’t require extended stays. The plastic/rubber foot coverings are large and rugged looking. This unit looks like it should NOT be left in sunlight. It should not be left around cats that don’t respect furniture either. Don’t sit on this w/sharp objects in your pockets. The foam inside feels very firm, not soft. The leg contours are a nice touch. You’d have to drive over (not beyond the realm of possibility given the drunk musicians seen after a gig) this or do something else really stupid to break it. It should not be left in a moist environment or exposed to the elements as it will likely rust over time under those conditions and/or the covering material will break down.

I now believe the drum stool is the most important part of your set, particularly if you drum several hours per day. I’ve tried many over the years. This is a near-perfect stool. Four legs, hydraulics and the seat is so comfortable. It’s like they took the best parts of the best stools out there and combined them into one super-throne. Well worth the money for endurance drummers.

Me being a heavier guy I needed a throne to handle my weight and that was comfortable, I bought this over a year half ago, now I’m reviewing this product. Even after that time frame, this throne was worth the money with how comfortable it is( and still comfortable today), how steady it has been, how it didn’t break or crack in a short time, and adjustments to suit my needs. If you want something that will last and you’re just using for yourself at home or keeping one at church then this is product you need.

This drum throne is fantastic. It is worth the money. Comfortable, sturdy, stable. The hydraulic lift is flawless and easy to operate. The throne itself is large and very comfortable. This is a killer drum throne.

bei den Fotos sieht man eine Rücklehne dabei, ich habe aber keine bekommen…

Love this tractor seat. Far better then a typical throne.. Very comfortable and sturdy.

It took me a while to accept the price tag, but wow, it was worth it!! Extremely comfortable, excellent height adjustments, great mobility and overall best drum throne I have ever sat on. Highly recommend!
Cubito –
Best stool I’ve ever used. Extremely sturdy due to its 4 legs. Ultra comfortable and supportive

El mejor asiento que puedes comprar.
Sin duda.
10/10, en comodidad, espacio y construcción.

It is so comfy and has a lovely little bounce in it! Hubs is so jelly I bought this for my pottery wheel, while his drum thrones are the cheap uncomfortable kind. Maybe I’ll have to get him one for his birthday. The height adjustment is easy and I like how it can go taller so I can raise my wheel and not lose circulation in my legs. And the seat material looks easy to wipe off. Feels very sturdy and stable. Love it!
Edited to add photos with rulers for size since people were asking about dimensions. I forgot how long ago I first reviewed this but I love my drum throne and so does everyone else. We’re just some fat bottomed girls making pottery and the clay wipes right off the seat so it still looks just as great as it did when it was new. I can throw for hours!
