These are great strings, similar to Ernie Ball’s Aluminum Bronze strings, but less brassy and brighter. I really like them !

Don’t let the low price fool you. I have been playing D’Addario and Martin stings for 28 years. While both those brands have stings I like and others I don’t care for I was skeptical about the Ernie Ball Earthwood acoustic strings. Used Ernie Ball for electric but acoustic??? Well I gave these a try and have been very impressed. The tonal quality and feel of these strings have quickly become my favorite. I play live twice a week and practice almost daily. These strings easily last 3 months with heavy use. They could easily charge double what they cost and it would still be a good value for your money. For the cost, sound and feel of these strings I have switched exclusively to them for my Martin D-18 and Orangewood guitars.

Corde per chitarra acustica dalla qualità senza eguali. Attribuiscono valore aggiunto anche allo strumento di rango inferiore. Lunga durata. Suono piacevole, morbido, flautato, equilibrato, pastoso. Bassi dal grande sustain. Suono armonico, brillante, predominante. Da vivamente consigliare.

These are good acoustic strings. And if your strings are bussing on the neck number 12 will sometimes work like a setup raising the neck to get the buzzing away.

Great strings. From 12 string to thin body cutaway stage guitars to dreadnoughts these are the only strings I use. The tone lasts the longest. Breakage is rare and they’re relatively easy on the fingers especially the 10 gauge. Great value

I have played acoustic guitar for many, many years. I play almost every Sunday and Wednesday for my church’s worship team, and even lead worship on multiple occasions. I do not remember the name of the previous strings I used, but I had been using them for many years. I thought I would mix it up and try this kind. Ever since, I have used no other strings other than these. I feel that they provided a nice, bright tone that I had been looking for. I know you are supposed to change them on a regular basis, but I am a college student so I have to usually keep the strings on for a long time. I have gone before a whole year without having to change them (playing weekly). I would highly recommend these strings to anyone playing acoustic guitar. At the very least, give them a try and you never know if you found your favorite strings for life!

I love these strings and the price is the best I’ve found, and I look. I have no music store around, 80 miles to closest store, and they’re a lot more expensive there so happy with Amazon deal. The phosphorus does seem to wear down faster than expected and the picture doesn’t show that so I didn’t post it. That’s probably just my sweating it out. I quickly wipe down after every song or songs when played together so they last me a solid 3 months before they start sounding a little dead. I’m a very limited picker but write, sing and strumming constantly so I believe 3 months is a fair survival rate of time before changing out strings. I do save the old set of strings for replacement in event I break one.
Medium light sounds best to me. Only the low E and A are a little bigger than full light strings. I prefer a bassier note on my folk bodies along with armrest to really kick out the deeper bass, just my preference, and they play as nice to me as lights. I’ll certainly buy them again. Remember if the music is too loud, you’re too old! 😂

I’m a beginner with one year of playing. I’ve tried several different brands and types of strings mostly to understand the differences. I’ve learning in a Blues/Folk track and listen to Neil Young, Dylan etc. Honestly of have nothing bad to say about any of the strings I’ve tried. They’ve all been great to experiment with and it’s so amazing to hear the sound change with each.

The “Ernie Ball Earthwood Phosphor Bronze Medium Light Acoustic Guitar” are exceptional though. I can’t nail down exactly what it is, but these strings sound amazing. I think it’s a balance in the base and high tones/notes. The sound is clean but has something underneath that resonates.

Another weird thing… I’ve tried tons of different picks. I always come back to a specific pick not because it feels much different but because I don’t hear it clicking when strumming. I regularly use different picks to experiment with playability and the change they have on the sound but always return to my favorites. These strings are different in how they react to the pick… for me. There’s no click from the pick that normally distracts me.

    Anyway – I like them a lot.
