The best part of the freezer is that it has three shelves so I don’t have to go pull out everything to find the item that I wanted which was at the bottom. So far the Temperature is very good. It is very quiet. It fits nicely with the black furniture I have in my kitchen. Am very happy with this purchase.
I can’t speak about energy efficiency because I have not had it long enough to judge.

I’ve only had this for a week so I can’t attest to its longevity or energy efficiency. But I can tell you it was easy for a couple of 75 year olds to carry down a basement flight of stairs, easy to set up and adjust the temp to our satisfaction, kind of fun to remove all the packing film and an absolute joy to have extra freezer storage space. It seems to be very quiet although it is not right in my living space. I can’t believe I waited this long to purchase this item!

I’m an exclusive pumper and needed to clear room in our freezer because I had a pile of milk bags filling it up. I purchased this freezer because it’s not loud, apartment friendly, and the size isn’t too big, but the inside is spacious. I did buy a thermometer separately to know the temperature of the freezer

This was a great choice. Looks nice and performs perfectly. I had not correctly measured the spot where I’d hoped to place it, so a temporary adjustment is working out for the time being. Please measure carefully, and do leave air space at sides, top and back (manual recommends 4″). The ENTIRE frame of the freezer is shrink wrapped…blue on the door, clear on the black box part. It’s hard to see on the black part, but it is on there, and is a thick plastic to be peeled away. Once in place, as “the manual” says, I let it set for 24 hours before plugging in, to let the coolant stabilize from shipping and unpacking. Don’t ever turn it on its side. I always read manuals and highlight those things that should be remembered.
Before plugging in, the manual says to be sure the temperature dial is on “4” to start. Then adjustments can be made later for more or less freezing. Dial is located on the back, bottom left. Temperature “1” is warmest, “7” coldest. Put on Zero “0” to defrost when necessary.
Also, as recommended, I first wiped down the inside with baking soda/water and then dried. There was absolutely NO odor of any kind before or after.
When first plugged in, while initializing, the outside of the case gets hot. Don’t put anything on top of it at this time. I set several water-filled cups and items inside to monitor the freezing process, and as soon as I felt it was cold enough, put some of my frozen foods inside. They have stayed rock-hard at the “4” setting! I’m surprised at how much can be placed inside. I have room to spare, and am really pleased with this quiet, efficient little freezer.

When I first opened up the fridge and placed it in my kitchen it had a pretty severe wobble, which may not be an issue for some ppl but I live on a second floor, I know the knocking of a full freezer rocking back and forth on my hard kitchen floor must be extremely obnoxious for the neighbors below me, I ended up having to cut off a piece of the foam packaging it comes with and wedge it under one of the corners. And yes the film around it is extremely annoying and loud to get off so I’ve just left it on it. I just feel like for over $200 there shouldn’t be any issues like this quality wise it’s not a large or impressive freezer by any means. And the cord is pretty short so I can’t store it on my balcony which was the intention. And the shelves aren’t even adjustable either, like they can come out but they have set places they go. Again nothing too crazy but for the price I shouldn’t have to deal with these annoyances I would rather just invest in a better quality freezer

The unit itself works great but I have had this freezer less than a few weeks and it’s already creating ice build up which means it will need defrosting often. I tried locating the knob to turn the cold temperature down a little and discovered the knob is in a very inconvenient place all the way in the back of the unit. The temp knob was set at 3, so I have turned it down to 2 in hopes that will reduce or emiminate the ice build up it’s currently creating. Also note that there is no light so you may need to turn the light on in the house to see what you’re getting at night. Aside from that, the unit works well. It is not very loud when it does go on. Ice cream stays frozen and the unit is pretty light weight.

Don’t hesitate to get this freezer it’s small but carries a punch. I leave it on level 2 from. 7 and it keeps everything well frozen without creating any ice. Great product for a descent price.
