I was recently asked to play harp/piano duets with a friend at a senior center. I hadn’t played in years, and even then I was never very good. With this book, I was able to throw together some nice performances with just a bit of practice. Of course, his accompaniment certainly enriched it, but even alone it would have been appropriate for the seniors.

Silvia Woods has a great talent for simplifying a piece and making it easy to see standard harp patterns. Not a beginners book, but a beginner could work up a few of the pieces. There is nothing technically challenging in the arrangements.
