    This trimmer has much more cutting power than our previous tools. It fits well in our hands and does not slip when trimming.

    They cut smoothly with ease. The handle spreads a bit wide for small hands but are quite usable. Good product if they will hold up.

    These are the best garden clippers I’ve found in 50 years of gardening. I’ve had several pairs over the years not because they wear out, but because garden helpers love them too, and I end up passing the on and buying another pair. The have a gear or ratchet mechanism that makes it easy to prune easily without straining my weak hands. They cut cleanly and quickly, are light weight and durable. Fiskars makes several clippers but for me, these are better than even their most recent power clippers.
    I bought two pair this time so I’m sure to always have a pair handy.

    I have had these shears for about 3 weeks. I went out to my cousins today to get some lilacs today. I brought my shears with me to try them out. Omg, they are the bomb!!!! I have tendinitis in my right thumb, so I don’t have the strength to twist caps or write much when I do. I cut a bouquet of flowers and my shears cute so easily and no pain in my hand. They are easy to squeeze and are very sharp. Would buy these again. I read a lot of the reviews on these before I purchased them and read that people that had arthritis in their hand had purchased them and loved them. This was the deciding factor in buying them was the fact that they were easy on cutting and no pain in the hands. Definitely a 10 out of 10

    Son muy cómodas y con su sistema de engranes facilitan el trabajo. Se requiere mucho menos fuerza para cortar ramas que con otras tijeras del mismo tipo.
    El metal de las hojas de corte es de buena calidad y conserva el filo.
    Personas con manos débiles o artritis lo beben tener.

    This is a Redesigned and not as good as the Original Fiskars I bought some 15 years ago or so. Those are still my go to’s. I saw these on a deal and have been watching the price for some 2 years and it was time I got them for a backup to my first pair.
    While trimming our Scrub Oak branches, and only on about the 5th cut, the “ergonomic” handle sort of spinned off the axis and I had to use 2 hands to get the branch out of them. I had just got them the day before, and was ticked off that they would do that on the 5th cut. I himmed n hawed about sending them back to get a refund. Well I managed to wiggle the handle until it went back to the proper position and now they appear to be fine again, and did cut the branches. But I will have to baby these, where as I certainly do not baby my Original Pair.
    Most of the branches are like 1/4″…some up to 1/2″. I use Fiskars Loppers for the big stuff. For now, these are just OK. I will always grab my Originals first. AND AND just a note for those that do not know…I do sharpen the blades by cutting thru folded Aluminum Foil….Yea it does work and has been for many years. I also use the Foil to sharpen my kitchen shears and garden scissors as well. Yes I do know what I am doing. Am past the 70 yr mark and have lots of experience.

    So what’s new you ask? Are we going to continue to accept lower quality goods at higher prices? Sometimes the price remains reasonable but the quality drops so much, there’s little value left. I have a power pruner that I got in a 3 pack of small, medium and large pruners about 20 years ago, and it was fantastic. The largest pruners were the power pruner type and they were smooth, comfortable, effective and lasted all those years, as have the smaller pruners. The power roll handle finally gave out and I can’t see a fix, so I tried the new ones in spite of the poor reviews which clarify why this isn’t the best selling pair of Fiskars. To give the company credit, the blades are still good but if they aren’t pleasant to use – who cares? The lock is really hard to use as many other reviewers mentioned, so the pruners stay open which isn’t the end of the world but I don’t want them in my pocket without being locked, so there’s another function that’s inferior. I’m going to try different brands until I find one that makes me happy. I’d go for a pair of Felco pruners, but I’ve tried their smallest pruner at a friend’s house and they’re too heavy for me. I’m not as good as I used to be either but it’s not a manufacturing/design problem. ;>}
