This simple outlet extender works great when your duplex outlet is powered by two separate circuits, that is, one circuit for the upper plugs and a separate circuit for the lower, since the device has two sets of blades which plug into the receiving outlet, and not one set like most other devices of this type. That’s because each bank of outlets on the device is powered separately. Of course, the receptacle powering the device containing two power feeds would have the connecting tang broken off to keep the upper and lower bank of circuits separate. Nevertheless this outlet extender would work equally well with a duplex receptacle powered by just one circuit. Satisfied.

What I like is that it gives 6 plugs. And is easy to install.
What I didn’t like was that the color “almond” was more of a GREY, than almond. I have “almond” wall plates right next to this electrical socket, and definitely looks GREYISH.
I ended up not using this item because of the color , but mostly the cords were such an eye sore. They were BLACK small appliance cords, thick. Just couldn’t get used to it.
I eneded up ordering a very small, short cord power strip, that also had USB ports. This “hides” better on the counter behind “stuff”.
Otherwise, the product is fine. I’ll use it someday but for now in the drawer in the garage.
