Ho acquistato due minipc Geekom e con mia grande sorpresa ne ho apprezzato l’immediata fruibilità, il rapporto dimensione-potenza e soprattutto la silenziosità.
Ho installato su entrambi il sistema operativo Linux Mint, e dopo poco più di dieci minuti, tempo di durata dell’installazione, ho potuto tranquillamente dedicarmi a ogni attività che normalmente effettuo al pc, come mail, internet, grafica, scrittura e lettura.
Con i due minipc ho sostituito due midi-tower, ho ricavato molto più spazio fisico e non ho notato sostanziali perdite di potenza nel 90% delle applicazioni che normalmente utilizzo.
I minipc sono espandibili con ram aggiuntiva e con un ssd fino a 2 TB con assoluta facilità.
Dopo più di 30 anni – ho iniziato a lavorare su computer nei lontani anni ’80, sono rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso dalle capacità (e dalla semplicità di utilizzo) dei minipc Geekom.
Consigliatissimi a chi utilizza Linux come sistema operativo principale. La compatibilità con i componenti interni è praticamente totale.

It takes a bit of time to fully evaluate a computer, so I’m just going to give a first impression.
Speed of processing is fantastic. Very quick with what I have done so far. Plenty of ports for attaching whatever you need. Quiet. I read one review stating a noisy fan. I had to look at mine to see if the fan was running and it was! Very cool after running for several hours.
Only complaint so far is slight noise from speakers. This has been reported in an earlier review. I’ll try Bluetooth pods rather than cable connected speakers.
I have not spent much time on this computer. I am very impressed with what I have seen so far. Give this computer serious consideration if you’re looking for an upgrade or replacing current PC. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised and happy with your purchase. I highly recommend Geekom.

Purchased August 23rd and I really liked it because it performed great!…. for 2 months. Now it won’t turn on. It’s not the power cord so it’s something to do with the computer. I never upgraded the hardware, nor did I use any other power supply than the one provided. Not sure what happened- left it running, went to meet a client, came back to it 2 hours later and it was off and won’t turn back on. Right at this moment, their customer service sucks because you can’t get ahold of anyone right away- you have to wait for their email back or return your call (you have to leave a voicemail). We will see if it will be taken care of and I will update if they respond.
Update: I was contacted by a person who handles their Amazon products directly and she was extremely responsive and helpful. I returned the one that died and received a full refund plus return shipping. I purchased their newer version (Mini IT13) and hopefully that one will hold up! So far it’s awesome and quieter than this one (maybe I just got a bad one).
The only thing that is a little irritating is that they say in their literature that you need to use their power supply and can’t use a universal that has the same voltage but they don’t have anywhere to purchase an extra one nor will they sell you one if you contact them. Oh well, it is a great computer and I will be super happy if it holds up as long as my tower did (7 years and still running).

-Lieferumfang:
Neben dem Netzteil ist noch ein HDMI-Kabel und eine Halterung um den PC an einem Monitor zu befestigen dabei. Außerdem ist noch eine praktische Stofftasche dabei, damit der Kleine auf Reisen keine Kratzer bekommt.
-Verarbeitung:
Leider ist nur der Boden aus Metall, der Rest ist aus Plastik. Trotzdem fühlt es sich hochwertig und gut verarbeitet an. Leider ist das Plastik anfällig für Fingerabdrücke, davon abgesehen gefällt mir das schlichte Design sehr gut.
-Ersteinrichtung:
Es ist wie bei allen Elektrogeräten ratsam den PC, besonders in der kalten Jahreszeit, erstmal 1-2 Stunden zum „aufwärmen“ stehen zu lassen nach der Lieferung. Ansonsten besteht die Gefahr, dass Feuchtigkeit im Gerät kondensiert.
Danach kann man Monitor, Strom, Tastatur und Maus anschließen. Windows 11 Pro ist schon vorinstalliert, so dass man den PC sofort in Betrieb nehmen kann. Die Einrichtung ist sehr einfach da der Einrichtungsassistent einen da durchführt. Das schafft jeder. Und es dauert nur etwa 10 Minuten.
Natürlich gibt es danach ein paar Windows Updates zu erledigen, aber auch das ist nach wenigen Minuten durch.
-Performance:
Ich habe es mir erspart, Benchmarks durchzuführen. Die könnt ihr auch ergooglen. Subjektiv bin ich auf jeden Fall begeistert. Der Kleine rennt förmlich. Alles läuft schnell und geschmeidig. Bis auf ein paar extreme Aufgaben wie 3D Games oder professionelle Videobearbeitung ist er für alle Zwecke geeignet. Und man merkt ihm seine kleine Größe nicht an. Läuft schneller als die meisten Desktops mit denen ich privat oder beruflich arbeite.
Ich denke 95% aller Menschen werden sehr zufrieden mit der Performance sein.
-Lautstärke / Temperatur / Stromverbrauch
Im Leerlauf und bei leichter Benutzung ist der PC nicht hörbar. Die CPU läuft dabei bei etwa 50-55°C. Und der Stromverbrauch im Leerlauf liegt bei 9,3-9,8 Watt.
Unter Volllast taktet der Intel-Turbo-Boost die CPU auf 3,4Ghz hoch und braucht dann 48Watt. Nach ein paar Sekunden Turbo-Boost steigt die CPU Temperatur allerdings auf den maximal erlaubten Wert von 100°C an, darum taktet die CPU bei längerer Volllast wieder etwas runter auf 3Ghz und verbraucht dann bei einer Temperatur von etwa 93°C ca. 41Watt.
Nach längerer Vollast wird auch der Lüfter störend laut. Der Lüfter ist etwas träge und braucht immer 20-30 Sekunden bis er seine Drehzahl der Last angepasst hat. Das ist insofern angenehm, als das er dann bei kurzen Leistungsspitzen schön leise bleibt und nicht wie andere PCs schon nach 2 Sekunden Last Krach macht.
Ich habe bei mir in den Energieoptionen den maximalen Leistungszustand des Prozessors auf 99% begrenzt. Damit ist der Intel-Turbo-Boost quasi deaktiviert und er erreicht unter Volllast 77°C bei 2,4 GHz und verbraucht dabei 28Watt. Der Lüfter ist dabei hörbar, aber nicht so störend wie mit Turbo-Boost. Und die Rechenleistung empfinde ich so auch noch völlig ausreichend.
-Besondere Features:
Der Mini PC hat in der Front ein Mikrofon integriert was nirgends aufgeführt ist.
Außerdem besitzt er einen integrierten IR-Empfänger. Mit Tools wie dem „Advanced MCE Remote Mapper Tool“ kann man beliebige Software des PCs per Fernbedienung bedienen.
Was man dafür braucht ist eine RC6 Fernbedienung. RC6 Fernbedienungen werden manchmal auch MCE Fernbedienung genannt das sind die Fernbedienungen mit denen man früher das Windows Media Center steuern konnte. Soweit ich weiß gibt es für die Logitech Harmony One auch eine Voreinstellung für solche Fernbedienungen. Ich konnte das Feature leider noch nicht testen. Allerdings sollte es funktionieren, der IR-Receiver wird auch korrekt im Geräte Manager angezeigt.
-Fazit:
Ein kleiner, leiser, sparsamer PC mit viel Leistung den ich jederzeit wieder kaufen würide.

L’ordinateur est petit et léger et démarre très vite, plus vite même que mon écran.
Le nombre de connectique est suffisant. Le seul bémol réside dans le bruit du ventilateur qui n’est pas constant mais un poil dérangeant les quelques fois où il tourne et qu’il n’y a pas d’autres sons dans la pièce.

Bought this one to replace a business PC. I was aware of the reviews about the case fan and bought it anyways. It is louder than I was expecting it to be. Reached out to Geekom support and requested if there was a firmware update and how to flash the firmware tutorial. They provided both. I recommend using online videos to help learn how to update the system if the tutorial does not make sense. The fan was silent after I completed it. Took less than five minutes overall. Now, I only hear the fan when I play 4K videos. It stays quiet when watching 4K YouTube videos though.
Best feature is how fast it boots up too. Less than 3 seconds and the mini is ready to begin working. Excellent system for a work PC, HTPC, or light gaming PC, as well.

Got the Mini IT12 (i7, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD, Win 11 Pro) on Feb 27, 2024. Set up was very easy even though it took almost 2 hours for Windows 11 update with fast internet. Purchased to run 4 IP security cameras using Blue Iris. It is working flawlessly, fast, and practically no fan noise as some users complain. The 1TP internal SSD is super fast as compared to my Microsoft Surface Pro 8 (i7, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD, Win 11 Pro). The Read is 2x faster (4 MB/sec) and Write is almost 4 times faster (4.4 MB/sec). Using a 4K monitor/TV and the display quality is very good.
The Surface Pro 8 stutters when using Google Earth. The GEEKOM Mini PC IT12 runs the Google Earth flawlessly while still operating my 4 High Resolution IP Security cameras. MS Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro work without any issue.
I am really impressed with the performance of this Mini PC. No more skeptical of purchasing a Mini PC. The MS Surface Pro 8 cost me $1,000 as compared to $500 for Mini PC with 2-4 times better performance. Every component in this Mini PC is working flawlessly and far superior over my MS Surface Pro 8 that I own.
I will update as the time goes on regarding long term performance of this Mini PC.

After around three months I am as thrilled now as I was the first day I set up my IT12 (i7, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD, Win 11 Pro). This little box is whisper quiet and completes any task I throw at it with ease. I ordered a second one for my wife. The PC was very well packed in its shipping box and setup was simple as could be. I initially thought there was an issue with this PC and contacted Karen at customer service. Every company should have customer service as accessible and willing to listen as Geekom. It turned out the issue was not with the PC which worked flawlessly. I am completely satisfied with every aspect of this purchase and highly recommend the item.

Every five or ten minutes, duel monitors switch from Extended back to mirrored. It does it on both MS Windows and Linux. Swapped out HDMI cables, but no difference. Contacted Geekom three days ago and no response. Sending it back on Monday if Geekom doesn’t respond by then.
Update: got a response from Geekom this morning.
Update: A MS Windows Update resolved the problem in Windows 11. I’m still having issues on Linux. I’m a Linux user 99% of the time, so it’s still a little frustrating. Furthermore, I no longer believe it’s a hardware issue, though. It looks like an Alder Lake-P GT1 Linux video driver issue. I changed my rating to 4 stars for that reason, and decided it is still a good value for the price.
One additional comment, Geekom did an outstanding job designing the housing. It’s easy to open, and they put clips on the screws, preventing them from falling out. The physical layout inside is also well though out, making it easy to access or add components.
It’s a lot of computers for the money. Let’s hope Intel gets their act together on the Linux side.
Update: Still had video issues sporadically and waited too late to send it back to Amazon. Kept thinking it was a driver issue. Finally gave up and contacted Geekom support and asked for a replacement. They promptly sent me a new computer. The new one works great. Thanks Geekom for your support.
