my thoughts about this product
1) perfect leak proof for liquid and lotion, but it wont work for oil based product, I used it for a mosquito repellent that is an oil based product, and it leaked everywhere 🙁
2) I take about two vacations a year and I require a lot of maintenance, guilty, therefore I need to bring a big collection of skincare and toiletry, and these travel size bottles really it is a life-saver;
3) save money on checked-in bags, I would hate to check in a bag and pay a large fee simply because I have to put some of my skincare and toiletries into a suitcase;
4) save your expensive skincare and toiletry, i own many fine skincare products, so I dont want to forget them at the hotel or airbnb, nor would I want the custom officers to take them away from me, and true story, some of my nice collection of skincare were taken away from me by the customs in Costa Rica, well I hope they enjoyed my fancy moisturiser ugh

A new supply of travel bottles was needed for the revamping of my “travel at the ready” toiletries bag. My old bag had seen many better days, so a new set was ordered. In the past I have always just used the travel sizes purchased in the store, but this time I thought I would step things up into the pretty realm and try honest-to-goodness travel bottles. After an exhaustive search, I finally decided on this particular brand. I found that the bottles were mostly the same across companies, but the colors available or desirable were vastly different. I chose two sets of silicone 3oz TSA approved travel bottles in the pink-lavender-purple tones. Each set of 4 bottles came in a clear vinyl zippered pouch where they all nestled comfortably. The silicone itself is very soft to the touch and the colors are hombre in fashion and quite pleasing to the eye. The lids screw on and off easily with wide openings making filling the bottles extremely easy. There has thus far been no leaking from any of the bottles. With gently pressure the liquid the bottle is holding is extruded, but if the bottle is squeezed hard…well you can imagine! When I ordered this set (or was looking at any other sets for that matter) I did not notice that the bottoms of the bottles are rounded meaning they will not stand upright but must be laid flat. Will this be a hindrance or a non-event?…only the future can predict. I imagine it will quickly become irrelevant. This particular company did not supply labels for the bottles. I communicated this to them, and they were quite gracious in their response, but no, did not have labels available. I did order some from a different seller. This is my only disappointment, and I am not sure if it is the fault of the bottle or the label, but the labels will not stick on the silicone portion; they will only adhere to the top of the caps. This is not what I wanted, but again, I imagine it will only be hindrance for a short time. I did feel required to subtract one star for this, but I did not subtract any for the rounded bottom as that was my responsibility to notice. Aside from this one annoyance, I find these little bottles fun, serviceable, and quite attractive.

I bought these for a trip as I liked the colours and thought they looked nice. When I filled them with my shampoo and other bath products I realized how the top of the bottle doesn’t seal. I got the top to go back in place but if any pressure was applied to the bottle it would leak from where it was attached to the top. They would be fine to just keep in your shower if you were decanting from a larger bottle but I would not travel with them as I’m certain they’d leak in the bag.
