This worked well right out of the box, You just have to drill it straight on and it cuts well.

I had a drain pipe that broke off really close to the wall I tried using a hole saw, hand filing and finally gave in and ordered this tool and I wish I did it days earlier because 30 seconds later I was ready to attach a new pipe fitting

Good stuff great for 1.5 inch made quick work and way better quality than the hardware store brand version. It got a carbide cutter insert that’s probably gonna outlast me. 2 inch seems straight foward to change. Overall get it if you think you need it.

This tool is worth just to have incase you need it to do a job.

Don’t waste your money on the more expensive ones!!! Got the 1 1/2” one and works excellent!!! I am really surprised on how great this tool is!!! You won’t regret it!!! As a plumber I use it a lot!!!

Didn’t have the issue that others had with the hole being too small. Right out of the box the 1.5″ made the perfect hole for the fitting. I normally don’t mind just cutting the fitting(s) out, but this was a nightmare of back to back connections that spidered inside the wall. It was definitely worth the money for the headache it saved me from.

Works like a charm for reaming out a fitting when you don’t want to redo everything.
Had the barbed fitting snap off a dishwasher wye that was tight to a tee wye. Cut what little pipe i could see between them, reamed the fitting and the pipe fit almost as tight as in a new fitting. Saved me a lot of time not having to redo all the client’s kitchen sink drainage!
Be aware, the screws are pretty soft and the allen head wants to strip out. Which surprised me considering how high quality the rest of the tool felt. Will be buying some new screws to replace the factory ones.
The screws are the only reason I haven’t given this tool 5 stars.

I bought this to see if I could save a few hours of work and opening up a wall to replace an elbow. It saved me so much time and headache. I would recommend that you test it first and mark with a sharpie where you want to stop.
But even if you only use it once, it is worth every penny.

Worked great. Saved the fitting and having to break out the wall to replace the drain

cuts well but only one cutting edge makes it pull unevenly while cutting. cuts smoothly but impossible to hold fitting you are reaming out with one hand. does cut nicely just can not hold fitting unless its in a vice or glued into stable plumbing.
I switched to older sheet metal style reamer as it has several cutting edges and was way easier to hold. Granted the sheet metal style needed sharpening before it would cut well. This style leaves a much rougher finish inside fitting but still glues up fine.

I had a valve I didn’t want to cut out but had the ability to ream out the old pipe that connected and cut. As long as you cut the old pipe flush to the fitting, this tool works perfect! First time use and it did what was expected easily!

I cut all my pool equipment out last fall and poured a concrete pad in it’s place. I didn’t want to have to buy new parts or put a million couplings in to reinstall. I was able to just replace the riser pieces with a longer piece and reuse all that same fittings. The pipe was 1-1/2″, so I can only speak on my experience with that size and not the 2″ adapter it came with.

Exactly what we needed
