This was a great upgrade over the cheaper polyester inflatables we’ve used for the kids. This is much more durable and sturdy as the kids grow older and get bigger. The cover helps prevent abrasion, rips and tears that can come from going over thin snow cover.

I bought another tube the previous year that was $60 more expensive, and made in the US. We had so much fun with it I knew I wanted a second tube, but thought I’d overpaid. Well, you get what you pay for!!!
Don’t get me wrong, this is a really nice tube and I expect it to last for a nice long time. The cover is great and using my compressor it’s super easy to blow up, all big pros. But it’s just not nearly as good as the other I paid a little extra for. The canvas cover is okay, but I can tell it’s going to wear out much sooner than the other. Then there’s also the fact that it is actually rather grippy on the bottom. That is NOT what I want for a tube. Little ones, on a really good sledding hill, didn’t get going hardly at all. Me and my big brothers who are over 175 pounds did alright, but it felt really slow.
The webbing does NOT seem like it would hold up to any kind of towing, so I wouldn’t recommend purchasing with that in mind.
So, good quality, will last a while but it’s slow and there are just better products out there if you’re willing to pay just a bit more.

I invested in this because I was tired of replacing the cheap tubes I had bought for my kids in the past. This is great quality, goes down the hill super fast and the oversized strap that attaches makes it really easy for my kiddos to pull back up the hill.

Super think canvas

Bought two of the retro covers inflated fully about 1.5 psi inside the tube, it all feels sturdy, my kids were impressed when we arrived at the snow hill until the first run. We went up but could not get it to glide down the hill, my son in a cheap plastic inflatable flew down the hill, my daughter in her plastic red sled went flying down.
I kept getting almost glued to the hill the tube wouldn’t slide even when getting pushed off. I suppose if the track was icy I would have gotten some speed, but nothing to show on softer snow. Almost need to grease the bottom to give it some gliding power.

First time I’ve been out sledding or snow tubing without destroying a cheap plastic sled. I’m 6’3″, 280 pounds. Had these out several times now at the park and in the mountains. Had well over 500 pounds of riders on them at a time with no issues. Every time I take them out people want to know where I got them.

We get very little snow here in the mid-Hudson Valley any more with the Earth getting closer to the sun or whatever is heating things up, but when it’s snowed, this Snow Tube has strutted its stuff. Good cold weather flexibility and excellent snow-slide. This replaced ancient, but beloved, Sevylor snow tubes. Fit those big shoes!

My son was honestly the slowest slider on the hill. Hard to get moving and short, slow runs. This was a steep enough hill too Not recommend.

I got this sled the end of last season, and waited all summer and fall. We finally got decent snow, and I took it on the hill and… well, I slowly went about 3 feet, and it just stopped. The folks that brought cheap tube sleds flew right by me. How disappointing! More than disappointing really, as I spent way more than I ever have on a sled, thinking I’d get high quality and it would last. Well, it is built good, but if it doesn’t slide down the hill, then what’s the point?! I think the fabric material on the bottom just is sticky and isn’t slick enough to slide. Epic fail 🙁

Great quality and super fun. Definitely recommend for the snow, also used to drag your belonging up the hill and flipped it over to become our lunch table. Worth the investment for family fun!

Le tube frotte dans la housse. Ils ne semblent pas aller ensemble.
