The Rebecca Review –
When a book is endorsed by Norman Vincent Peale and W. Clement Stone you know it has to be good. This is basically a fiction tale of a boy named Hafid who wants to become a great salesman. The story is captivating and even turns poetic. You are taken away to an exotic location and get to discover what is hidden in a tower. All Hafid’s success later in life is based on what is in the tower. What secrets are in this box and how can they help the reader discover unlimited success?
Very few books can change the world for good, but this one has some of the best insights and instructions for how to be successful in whatever you do. While this is written for salesman I think the information is great for everyone who is trying to make it big in the world. One note to consider is that some of the words used back in 1968 have changed their meaning slightly. I find this a lot with older books.

Contiene muchas enseñanzas, no solamente para las ventas si no para la vida cotidiana en general. Ojala lo hubiera encontrado y leido antes. Es un si obligatorio.
Broadway Music –
I bought this book as a recommendation from a business leader who I follow loosely. He spoke of it very highly, and quoted some of the ten scrolls.
The book is very powerful, it is extremely to the point. There is an enticing story that surrounds the principles of the scrolls’ teachings. And the end will throw you for a loop but help introduce you to the greatest Truth in the world, which I did not expect but was very stoked about.
I’ll agree with other reviews I have heard which say: this book talks about a “salesman” but is very much not focused strictly on business strategy or money, but rather life as a whole.
HIGHLY recommend, also a very quick read. Took me like 6 sittings but most people could read this in a couple hours.

This book is without a doubt the best book about sales that there is. It covers the relevant lessons of sales in a nice ancient-type tale. Very easy to read and powerful meaning.
David M –
This book is a masterpiece, which made me cry at some point of the reading : it combines the transmission of the harsh laws of selling, with the highest degree of inner morale and ethics. It also emphasises the mystery of life and gut feeling, making you sometimes do things that seem stupid on the moment, but prove thereafter being by far the best that could be done. How magnificent and rare!

You will find that the size of the book means nothing after you read this one.
In such a small book and a short read, I feel like I can take on the world. I got this book for me and a close relative to read together long distance over the phone when we cannot be together. The works of affirmations and the words of encouragement provided from this book brought us so much closer together, while motivating us and giving us a greater sense of perspective on life in the process. The small size makes it easy to carry on the go, easy to store in a purse, sling bag, or even cargo shorts.
While the cover may say the greatest salesman in the world, it inspires anyone to become the greatest version of them self. It encourages connection, understanding, and thought about the world. Utilizing various analogies and stories, a myriad of lessons can be learned from the small book. It touches on gratitude, having faith, and perseverance, in addition to so many more important topics that should be talked about in society. This is a book everyone should read, to give everyone some much-needed perspective and mindfulness in their life right now. The lessons to be learned in this book are well worth the price, and I cannot wait to read the sequel. The scrolls provided in this book appeal to those who are both religious and not religious, and does not push it’s views on anyone. The book simply hopes to invoke a sense of control in your life. No matter who you are or where you are, happy or sad, this book is vital to changing your mindset for the better.
I strongly encourage you to buy multiple copies of this book- more copies, cheaper rate per book- and because you will want to give this to a friend. I continue to buy this book for my friends, family, and strangers as gifts and just as a guide to those who hold great potential. I put copies on benches, tables, and seats in hopes that people will find this book and grow from it just as i have.

Sales are everywhere. Your job title doesn’t matter, you’ll always be selling something. That’s why this book is great for everyone!
DIANA RICHARDSON –
The Greatest Salesman in the World” by Og Mandino is nothing short of a masterpiece that transcends the boundaries of its title. Mandino’s narrative, presented as a guide imparted by the wise camel boy Hafid, is a treasure trove of timeless wisdom and life lessons.
This book is not just for sales professionals; it’s a profound journey for anyone seeking personal and professional growth. The structure, presented as ten ancient scrolls, adds a unique and engaging touch to the storytelling. Each scroll reveals principles that, when embraced, can transform one’s life.
Mandino’s writing style is both eloquent and impactful, drawing readers into Hafid’s world and making the lessons relatable to various aspects of life. The emphasis on the power of positive habits, persistence, and the cultivation of a positive mental attitude is woven seamlessly into the narrative.
What sets this book apart is its ability to inspire action. The reader is not just a passive observer but is encouraged to take on the role of the greatest salesman, applying the principles in their daily life. The simplicity of the message makes it accessible, yet the depth of its impact is profound.
As someone who has read numerous self-help and motivational books, “The Greatest Salesman in the World” stands out as a timeless classic that continues to resonate with readers across generations. It’s a book to be revisited, with each reading revealing new layers of insight and inspiration.
In conclusion, “The Greatest Salesman in the World” is a captivating and transformative read that has rightfully earned its place among the must-read classics in personal development literature.
