We have 3 cats of various types. Every afternoon between 3:30 and 4 o’clock. they arrive and sit at my husbands feet. One meows, one swats his pant legs; one is patient. This is cat treat time. After 5+ years, none of them are tired of the catnip flavor. I don’t smell the catnip in these treats, but the cats don’t act like they’ve eaten an ‘upper’ product.

The cats are probably just very spoiled, but both my cats, when I got these treats I gave them one without a pill. They both took one lick and looked at me as if to ask “Where’s the REAL treats?”
Eventually they both ate their treat, but I didn’t trust that the pill filled treat would be eaten. And by the right cat. So, I took these very moldable treats and smush some of their freeze dried fish treats into them along with the pill and voila! the cat gulped it down, pill and all. No scratches, no fuss, no anxiety, no further injuries, to me or the cat. So, overall, success! Will definitely use again. Maybe try a different flavor.

Ich teste gerade mehrere solcher Produkte und meine Katze steht total auf das superteure Pill Assist von Royal Canin. Als Abwechslung soll sie auch andere testen. Sie nimmt die Tabletten in diesen Snacks zwar gut, aber in den anderen von Royal Canin besser.

Maybe I was just unlucky and the bag got smashed in the delivery box, but mine don’t look *anything* like they’re pictured [here and on the package]. They’re varying shapes, from a smushed square to a tiny circle, but nothing like I expected. Since they’ve all been smashed, it’s impossible to find the hole/pocket; not a single one has a visible or usable pocket/hole. And they’re so small, I have no idea how a capsule, like the one shown on the package, could possibly fit into them.
The pills I’m using these for are felimazole 2.5mg; they’re very small. Since all the pieces in the bag are squished, I’m using the pill itself to push down and create a hole for it, then pressing the rest down around it. My cat eats them right up, so at least that part’s okay!
To summarize:
– they look nothing like their pictures [apparently due to being flattened in packing or shipping]
– there’s no way to stand them up like in the pictures
– none of mine has a usable, or even visible, pocket
– but my cat does like them!

When the vet told me that my 13 year old cat needed 2 weeks of steroid pills, I was not looking forward to it. Years ago when she had antibiotics or something, I hid them in ham (she goes nuts for ham), and this kinda worked. She wouldn’t even touch it this time. Even after the pill fell out of the ham, she wouldn’t eat the betrayal ham. So I ordered this product. It was super easy to stick the pill inside the little cup treat thing and pinch it closed. My cat couldn’t eat the thing quick enough, and then she was licking the floor, and then she meowed at me begging for more. I touched the bag and she’d appear out of nowhere, meowing impatiently. Cannot recommend this product enough, never dreamed it could be so non-traumatizing to give medication to a cat!
My other cat wanted to know what the heck was going on, so I have her an empty one. She sniffed it and looked at me like I had given her poop or something. Point is, may not appeal to all cats. Thankfully, my cat that needed meds went ravenous for the catnip flavored pill pockets. Good luck fellow cat people!

Das Produkt wurde pünktlich geliefert und hält, was es verspricht. Seit ca. 1 Woche verabreiche ich ein Teil der Tabletten über dieses Produkt. Es schmeckt es meiner Katze (Geschmacksrichtung: Catnip) und wird deshalb im Ganzen verspeist. Nur der Preis ist recht teuer und die Lieferzeiten etwas lang aufgrund der Entfernung.
