Yes, it polishes, but it’s not really harsh enough to polish out anything but super fine scratches
Adisor –
It doesn’t removed small scratches, it’s just a little improvement versus invisible glass cleaner.
Not impressive as mentioned on the product reviews.
kali potter –
Took off residue from my windshield that windex could not. The residue was causing a haze when the wipers were used
Adriane Twisselman –
I ordered this glass polish & buffer… it completely transformed my windows I thought I would have to replace. The streaks were so bad I couldn’t see out the window. And after they’re perfectly clear again! Highly recommend!!! Saved me hundreds not having to replace my windows

This was an easy glass polish to use with a DA polisher and Griots glass polishing pad. The cap is a little confusing, but if you lift it upward it will open a small hole in the cap for easy spreading on your pad. The polish is thick, but readily spreads. It easily removes water spots and provides a decent polish before sealing.

I got 4 scratches on my windshield. I have no idea how it happened, but it was fairly deep — you could feel it with your fingernail. Maybe I scratched it when I cleaned my windshield with a paper towel, bird poop had some sand it in it… still unsure.
I used this product with a buffing pad on my drill. You need to use a tiny bit of it. If you use too much, it doesn’t really work. I worked it for 20 minutes taking short breaks and wiping off the residue from time to time, until my drill’s battery died. The key is applying a fair amount of pressure. I added a tiny bit of water every once in a while. The scratches turned into more of a prism effect (as if there’s a tiny bit of water on your windshield). Then the next day I repeated the same exact thing twice more, for a total of 3 sessions.
Right now I can barely even find the scratches (and only during daylight) from inside the car. In the evening the windshield looks completely new. If I run my fingernail, the outside of the glass is completely smooth. From the outside, the scratches are impossible to locate, unless you know where to look. The remainder of the imperfections will eventually be polished off by the wiper blades after a couple of years. As they say: “dripping water hollows out the stone…”
So in short: this product works. You need to be patient. You also need to use a power buffer or a drill. If you spend an hour, any reasonable scratch will be nearly removed. I’m very glad I found it. Every single glass repair shop declined to perform this work, which I easily did myself. Just don’t expect the scratches to be completely gone, because you are essentially shaving off the top layer of your glass. You will be left with a prism effect/slight distortion where the scratches used to be. Is it better than the scratch? Absolutely. If the scratch is 1mm deep, you need to take off 1.1 mm of glass to make it go away. And again, this is not something you can do by hand, unless you have 10 hours to kill….

Easy to use works great .

Removed heavy water stains that nothing else would on an 08 FJ. Needed a wool pad and a ton of buffing, but glass came out looking new

Worked fine for me. Used it to buff discoloration off a refinished bathtub.
Wet Woodsman –
I wasn’t trying to remove scratches. Just water spots from the glass on my old jeep. I used this polish with a felt pad and a backing pad.
This polish made quick work of the water spots.

It does work with water spots baked on glass but it’s not truly going to remove the deep scratches from the windshield. I used the glass pads from griots at the highest speed setting on the glass. The windshield had to be done a second time as the deep scratches were causing night glare problems. The only thing is polishes round off the edges of deeper scratches from paint to reduce their appearance, in this case the glass. It did minimize the appearance of scratches but your going need something extra if you’re driving at night time and dealing with light glare.

Seems more as a compound , rough polish ..
in my case : had some fine scratches remaining …
