I’ve been buying these small mice for many years now, for a succession of cats who all loved them, and was afraid Hartz had stopped making them. Then I found them on Amazon in new bright colours whereas the past mice had all been black or white. My big boy had a card of them out of which I pulled a new one whenever the previous one vanished under kitchen appliances or showed signs of getting old and tired and losing appeal. We had a very lively kitten here for a week as a foster, who played enthusiastically with all my old boy’s toys. My boy was polite and allowed the guest to amuse himself — anything to keep the little pest from pouncing on his feline host and wanting to wrestle — but refused to touch the mice once they’d been played with by our guest. So the little one went off happily to his own new forever home with a bag of well-loved and used toys, and now I’m replacing them with new ones for my patient old boy. He’s happy, the kitten was happy, I’m happy.

All 3 of my cats love these mice. No others will do. I don’t know what the difference is between these and all the others, but I couldn’t find these for a while and tried LOTS of others. Nothing. These they carry around and bat at all the time. I’ve tried others with both catnip and silvervine to no avail. The size may be perfect. Most of the others I’ve bought them are bigger. I order extras because they don’t last long. Not because they aren’t good quality, but because they get nasty from all the slobber and I throw them away and put out more.

A cat toy that lasted 4 years, will be buying again, one of my cat’s favorites. The rattle is very quiet which I like, as it breaks down it unravels slowly which my cat loves.
Only 1 out of 2 survived, i set a heavy box on the other and it crushed. But the purple one I’ve stepped on a lot and has not broken. 10/10.

My young cat is a good mouser a lot of energy and he loves these. They are his favourite toy. Only issue I’ve found is that he does tear them apart, leaving little tufts of their fur all over the place. At least I know he’s enjoying them!

These are very small compared to other brands. The cats love them though. Decently durable. Think the cats would have liked them even more if they rattled.
The little blue one is this brand, the yellow one is some random brand and the purple one is from dollar general. Quality wise these very small and not very sturdy/thick. The tails do seem to stay one better than some of the other brands.
