Works great, install was a bit of a pain because the duct connection is only a 1/2″ off of the wall and there isn’t alot of extra space In the cover for it and the electrical connection.
I also had to modify the mounting bracket so the chase would sit tight against the ceiling, the brackets are a drop in style so if you use them the way the instructions show you would end up with a 5/8″ gap at the ceiling.
Other than that, it looks better and works better than expected for the price.

I’m the vent hood was easy to setup and we were able to use our venting that was from our old fan. It is quiet and when in high cleared the room of smoke very quickly. In high it is a little loud but not so loud it is annoying. I would purchase it again.

Unfortunately the first unit delivered was damaged due to the poor packaging and rough handling by shippers but after replacing the unit, the second unit came in good condition and was easy to install. Fan is fairly quiet and works well.

This is a good product but a few things to note.
This item has an electrical outlet cord, one you plug into an outlet. YOU CANNOT HARD WIRE THIS PRODUCT unless you want to cut the electrical plug off and splice it into a box.
This item requires an outlet behind where you wish to place the chimney.
My husband and I had an electrical hook up to hard wire this product and instead had to create an outlet box with the wiring instead of hard wiring this product- pain in the butt…
Maybe this might be advertised somewhere but I didn’t find anything saying this. I don’t understand how someone would already have an existing outlet box in that location of their kitchen. I guess maybe new builds?
This product should be the same electrically as a dishwasher where it’s hard wired- in my prodessional DIYer opinion.
Oh also, it’s evident that the blue protective film was placed on all conponents and then the components were assembled. You will never get 100% of the blue film off this product. Ironically I scrated the until trying to get the protctive film off.
Instructions were okay, not much to remark- a little confusing in regards to the chimney and reference of inner and outer chimneys. Otherwise easy to follow.
LED lights are located at the rear of the fan closest to the wall, and they are the cold blue daylight colour.
Otherwise the product came in clean, new working condition, it came fast. And I absolutely recomment it for the price point.
