I LOVE this computer! The touchscreen is a good option, although I prefer using a mouse. I don’t do heavy gaming, so I can’t speak to that specific topic, but the monitor image quality is great for my purposes. I use my computer for web-surfing, YouTube videos, Office applications, Printshop, Hallmark Card Studio, email, Jacquie Lawson e-cards and Advent calendars, Microsoft games, and desktop publishing. I have had absolutely no difficulty with any of these programs and applications.

This computer is FAST. I have high-speed Xfinity wireless cable Internet, which I’m sure plays a part in the computer’s speed. Even so, it’s much faster than my last computer, which was a good, business-grade traditional tower, upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10. I’ve never been a fan of Windows 10, but I’m pretty much used to it and can appreciate many of it’s new options.

I love the color I chose…white. It’s clean looking and makes my work space brighter. The monitor height is perfect for me…I am a tall woman (5’10”), and I sit tall at my desk. The keyboard is very nice. It has all the usual features, but is not huge…I like its more compact size. And, it uses batteries, so no charging is necessary. Instead of those little plastic flip-out stands that always break off, it has an integrated stand along the entire back edge. The keyboard is nicely weighted so it stays put. The keys have good touch-feel with a soft click when typing. And, conveniently, it can rest on the wide monitor stand when not in use.
It comes with a wireless mouse, but I prefer to use the ergonomic mouse I already have.

I hope this review helps you.

After my third day trying to work my way around this new computer, I am ready to give up on it and return it. In particular, I couldn’t reconcile my biases with the keyboard style. I have big hands, which makes it clumsy for me. In addition, it has no F-keys. How can a keyboard have no F-Keys? Worse of all is this computer came with no instructions about the equipment configuration, camera location, on-switch, how to insert batteries into the mouse, etc. In any case, I figured out some of these things after tinkering around with it. However, regarding the F-keys, it could be there are ways to emulate them but no instructions were provided to that effect. What’s a man got to do? Much as I hate to have to return it, I can’t abide the thought of living with these negative aspects into the unforeseeable future.

So, I contacted the seller, and they agreed to pay for a replacement keyboard. I have since fallen in love with this computer. I bought this to replace an aging HP AMD all-in-one that I acquired several years ago (2012), that has slowed down to an excruciating crawl. The blazing speed of this computer justifies the investment. The resolution is perfect for watching movies or the news. A few essential accessories have been removed from it but it still satisfies most basic computing needs. So far, it’s been a wonderful desktop. I love it.

Update: While I did not notice it before, there is a usb dongle for the mouse and keyboard. I find this troubling because the system will become inoperable if, for any number of reasons, that usb is lost. Is there a way around this design flaw?

This is the 2nd HP all-in-one computer I have had and I love it. Sure hated to replace the first one, which I had for 8 years, updating over the years, from Windows 8 to Windows 10 with no problems. Until the last time when windows updated and I lost audio. There was no HP audio drive to fix the problem. Which is strange because this one has audio that works just fine. Love that I don’t have to worry about cables all over the place. This one has a tilt screen so I can adjust it when I’m on zoom instead of having to sit on a pillow. The camera is good and I like the way it hides in the back when I’m not using it. There’s a goofy little tag on the lower right side; the brand name of the sound, but I can live with it. Right after I got it, I called customer support at Amazon for a minor question and they responded quickly and were very helpful

I’m in love. I had been using an old HP all in one for my business for the last six years. It only had 4gigs of Ram and an old processor. I had become accustomed to waiting 30 seconds-1 minute for the computer to process simple Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom (classic) processes. After installing both programs on this computer, it handles ALL processes as quick as lightening. With a whopping 16GB of ram and the new Intel Core I7 processor, Its amazing to see Photoshop (the full version) load in literally 2 seconds, or to turn the computer on and have it ready to go in a matter of seconds. What a luxury! Everything seems solidly constructed. I actually like the fact the screen isn’t adjustable, as it feels more solid/safe this way. Being some one that prefers to sit in a higher chair rather than a low to the ground office chair, it doesn’t bother me. Just get the right size chair and you won’t be “looking up” at the screen as others have complained.

Concerning screen size: Initially I thought the 27″ screen would be like a small television and WAY too large. Now I’m hooked. Being able to look at my RAW photography files and know precisely what they’ll look like for professional printing is fantastic. I cannot believe I waited this long to have a larger PC monitor or more powerful processor. I think the Core I7 processor is probably superior to the AMD Ryzen processor on other HP all in ones of similar design. The HP website is currently selling this precise 27″ model, only with an AMD. Paying a little extra for the I7 Core seemed worth it.

My only real disappointment was to find out that the All in ones are made in China, rather than produced in a HP factory in the USA. I don’t think I have to mention the risks in this, as its obvious. High hopes nothing scary has been installed on it.
