Absolutely fantastic light. The brightness is immaculate. The 30-36 fits my 20 gallon long perfectly. Definitely worth the price. Super easy to use!
Update: I’m buying one for all of my tanks. My plants are THRIVING

I can’t complain for the money, it’s cheap and puts out good quality light. Probably for the novice hobbyist as anyone more serious would be more interested in programmability. This light has none! But it does offer some preset light cycles. It has an 8hr, a 10hr, and a 12hr cycle that will begin at the time that you set it every day (You have to be resent to set it on at that specific time but then you can forget it). This cycle will gradually ramp the light up and down throughout the cycle. It also has as 24hr cycle with 6 different preprogrammed phases. Dim orange light for sunrise, blue light for moonlight, white light all day. You can choose what time it starts but again, you must be resent to start the cycle before you can forget it. Other than that, the manual settings are nice. Good variety of colors and 4 different intensities for each. Good beginner/intermediate light. Advanced hobbyists you can probably find something more programmable.

Recomendada , cumple con las expectativas y es como se describe en el anuncio
Buen producto, recomiendo –
So far this is an amazing light. The price was great. The amount of settings are incredible for such a simple design. I absolutely love the look of it!! This light is very slim and is almost impossible to see if I am sitting on the couch or from across the room. It would also look amazing on theme tanks and that type of décor where there are no plants, but has colorful décor items. (great nightlight for kids room?…lol).
The Full Spectrum is the perfect amount of light for my 26″ tall tank.
I am not sure if plants that require supper bright lights will like it but IMO the med light plants should do great. (I had 2 – 18,000k t5s on my tank prior and it was way to bright).
It only took 30 minutes and My German Blue Rams have already come out of hiding.
The instructions were simple…unless you are me…lol. I kept thinking that the 8:00,10:00,12:00,15:00,18:00,22:00 was the hours that you can set it for a timer…. it is not…lol. It is the 6 timer points that you can set the local time at. So if you want the light on at 6am then you must set it at one of these timer points. If you want it on at 5 then set it at 7,9,11,2,5,9 instead or if you want it to come on at 7am then at 9,11,1,4,7,11. Anyways you get the point.
As soon as you set the time for your local time, then the 24/7 gradient light should be set to come on at 6am. (I will have to get back to you on if it is and what it is like.)
To my knowledge from what I understand of all my research on this light, The 24/7 schedule should go like this….
from 6am to 8am it is a gradient orange sunrise until its brightest point.
from 8am to 6pm it is day time with a gradient white until it is at its brightest then slowly starts to go down… (I am assuming with blue mixed in as it starts to change)
from 6pm to 10:30pm it is moonlight and should go from a brighter to darker blue.
I will update this as soon as I get a feel for this light. I will let you know if the light actually does as advertised. So far it looks very promising.
(UPDATE)
When set perfectly on time my light did not shut off completely until around 10:50pm (not 10:30pm as the booklet states), but it did start on time at 6:00am.
I love that this light comes on slowly and that it brightens to full spectrum during the day and then starts to dim in the evening. This light dims very slowly and comes on very slowly, It should NOT startle your fish. “My GBR are out a lot more now”.
If I had to change anything it would be that it was to have a battery backup so if the power flickers off at night and then comes back on that your settings would be saved and the cycle from 6am on until completely off at 10:50pm seems too long “for our household”. The 12hr timer is too short. I believe that if they were to change the 6-10-12hr to include an 8 & 14 hour that it truly would be completely perfect for everyone.
My prior lights were way to bright and I think that is why my water wisteria plants were not doing to well (even with flourish excel and flourish iron).
I will give another update later on about how my plants are doing.

I’ve used several similar lights over the years on my two fish tanks, and this is one of the better units I’ve worked with for ease of use. Setting up the 24/7 automated light shifts is super simple and I really appreciate that. Some of these lights make that super hard and frustrating. This is as simple as basically hitting the 24/7 button and walking away. If my grandkids mess with it, it’s as simple as hitting the button until the light closest to the actual hour is blinking and walking away.
The light can be set very bright and it has helped my plants immensely. I hadn’t realized how badly my previous light was fading and failing until I replaced it with this one.
The only flaw I find with this light is the mounting. There are better ways to mount these lights on very large tanks and for some reason the industry just keeps relying on that adjustable bent wire hanger that may or may not sit sturdy on the tank frame.
All in all a good light especially for the price.

Very simple but an extremely effective light. All of my plants have flourished under it and I’ve never had issues with bulbs burning out, overheating, or melting like other cheaper ones. They are very bright and I’d suggest keeping them out of direct sightlines, but it’s worth it. The timers work great and even on their longest cycle there’s no issues of algae growth, and the fish look vibrant under them.
I’ve gotten two different sizes of this light before, and absolutely will be getting them again for future tanks. It’s the only one I’ve been recommending to friends for their set ups.

Excelente lámpara, el diseño y calidad muy buenos, alta relación calidad – costo, lo único que le mejoraría es el tiempo de iluminación en la modalidad 24/7, sería magnifico que tuviera una opción adicional con menos tiempo de foto período.

For the money, i don’t think you can buy a better light. Built in timer, plenty bright for growing low to medium light plants. Color changing, dimmable….it’s a great choice for a budget light. I have 1 on a 75gal and 1 on a 55gal planted tank. Both are 48″ and both are awesome

I am very happy with this light. The amount of light and features with this light at an affordable price has made this my new favorite. It is a very bright light with a simple 4 button control. Preprogrammed with different light color options, a 24/7 daylight option (which I love), light intensity control, and a basic timer that does 4,10 or 12 hrs of light. For the price that is a great amount of light options. I love the low profile it has on the tank almost like it’s not even there. The written directions were hard for me to follow when it came to setting the timer options (in all fairness that could just be me), but with a quick Google search I found a video and setting is actually quite easy. It is sturdy and well built. I will be buying this light again because there is no such thing as to many tanks.

**Update 3: Putting this at the top – I’m at a little over 2 years with my 3 lights and they are all going strong. I love them, my plants grow great, and all my aquariums are doing great. These will be my go-to lights for any future builds.**
I’m just getting my setup together, but I’ve been playing with this light for the last 2 days. I’ll update this review with any issues once I get my tank setup and planted.
The good:
-Bright full spectrum light
-Super slim
-Lightweight
-Stays VERY cool to the touch
-24h mode is great, and unlike what I’ve read about the timer on some other Hygger products it does turn fully off. (I haven’t tried the 6/10/12 hour timers yet as I don’t plan on using them)
The bad:
-Directions are pretty confusing, especially when it comes to how the 24hr timers work
-I don’t love the slide-out legs for mounting, but they do the job
-RGB Modes are neat, but probably useless to most
-No memory if power is lost
On the 24h mode. You can kind of see how it works in the video for the product, but here are some details/info.
-The daylight cycle takes approximately 16.5 hours from start to finish.
-Day light starts at a dim orange and slowly works up to full bright for the late morning through afternoonish, then starts winding down.
-The last ~30mins are blue only LEDs that slowly fade out to off.
The 24h button is probably the most confusing part of the directions. It has 8:00 / 10:00 / 12:00 / 15:00 / 18:00 / 22:00 settings. This is for setting where in the light cycle the current time of day is. As an example if I power up the light and want to start the 24h cycle, and its 10:00am I set it to the 10:00 button. If it was 3:00pm I would set it to 15:00, etc. Now the cycle will start at 6am and end at 22:30 (10:30pm). There is a little time math involved if you want to set a different start time, say 7:00 am instead of 6:00am. But this time schedule is perfect for my use.
Overall I am very excited to get my setup complete and see how it looks with this light.
**UPDATE** This light continues to be awesome! I’ve had it running for about 3 weeks and my plants are taking off! The “sunrise” is beautiful as well. My one and only complaint so far is that the plastic that covers the LEDs isn’t secured in any way and will rattle occasionally from my wavemakers/filter. Should be an easy fix tho.
**UPDATE 2** I’m rapidly approaching a year with this light and now have 3 sizes running on 3 different tanks. (10g, 29g tall, 40g breeder) All are working great still. The total light time is a little high (16.5 hours) but none of my tanks are out of control with algea growth. All of my plants are doing great! I’m planning a couple more aquariums this winter and will definitely buy this light for them.
