My dog loves to chew – plastic saucers do not last 2 seconds. This is the only saucer that has lasted. It’s flexible while still being able to hold structure. He could probably rip the material if we let him chew it, but he does not and we do not.
Overall, if you have a dog that likes to catch and plastic saucers don’t work, this is definitely one to try.

Our Doberman loves these frisbees. They float long enough for her to time it so she can catch them in the air. Durable as long as you train and supervise your dog so they don’t chew on them. The first ones lasted well over a year.

Our goldendoodle puppy was given a rope frisbee which he loved (too much) and quickly destroyed. I chose these ones based on the reviews and we are both thrilled. I can now actually throw something far enough away that the puppy has to fetch and return and we can see it if he loses track in the grass, or the snow (vs a ball). Also, when it inevitably hits him on the head (he is still working on his spacial skills, and predicting that tricky windy), it doesn’t hurt as much as a hard frisbee. As a puppy, he does like to grab the soft fabric in the middle, so it might not last as long as I would like, but overall we are very happy.

My dogs like to try and catch in the air. This frisbee is easy to throw and flies really nicely. Easy on their teeth and so far pretty durable. Will order again.

Flies Beautiful nice and lightweight. Gets caught in the wind makes it unpredictable for pup…more fun keeps him on his toes. gotten lots of use. Well loved flyer still in use money well spent. It’s faded and chewed Now but fabric is still holding up. Dog was able to Somehow get the outer ring support out But was able to feed it back through. The Kong red flyer has gotten lost and if we don’t find it soon I’m just gonna order another 1 of these!

These are great in every way . . except one:
– They fly good.
– They last a really long time and are very durable.
– In spite of the above, the price is good.
– Unlike rubber ones and “heavy duty” ones, they are lightweight.
– Even when they finally get a small hole or two in them, they still fly about the same.
– My dog (Lab) doesn’t even try to lay down and tear them to shreds like the more expensive ones I used to get, which is awesome!
– Only issue I have consistently found (bought 3): Hyperpet does not glue the ends of the inner rim together so as to make a firm ring, and the more you use it, the more it distorts the outer ring out of shape right where the ends meet and makes it fly “wobbly” and would it certainly fly better and look better if the ends of the ring were glued together like they should be . . Dear Hyperpet: Please fix!

We have an assortment of flying discs at home, but this is the one my obsessive Heeler picks most often. Depending how you throw it, it can have somewhat of a parachute effect, slowing down the descent, which can sometimes be a good thing. Also works well in windy conditions. It’s held up longer than our other discs too. Now if i can just get it away from her to clean it….

My Aussie loves to catch this disc. She even plays a tug game on it, which has held up very well. It is also soft on her teeth. It was worth the purchase and I have a second one that it came with should it ever wear out.

I have a cattledog who is an absolute frisbee nut and we play frisbee at least twice a day every day. I’ve probably owned two dozen of the Flippy Flopper Dog Frisbees over the last several years and I’ve tried most if not all dog frisbees on the market. After literally thousands of throws I can say the Hyper Pet frisbee is by far the best in terms of flight dynamics and weight while at the same time being safe for the dog. It’s about finding a balance between distance and hang time which allows the dog to catch up to the disc and make the catch. Many competing frisbees simply don’t fly long enough due to how they are constructed and wind up on the ground. The Flippy Flopper has a parachute effect once it’s in flight which helps it maintain hang time and makes for great catches. The disc can easily be thrown 50-75 yds or more (key is not to overpower the throw) and hangs long enough for a quick dog to make the catch.
This frisbee will not withstand a chew session for very long so you need to take the disc away after your session if you have a chewer. It’s fairly easy for the dog to chew through the seams and pull out the rubber ring around the edge and I know dogs that enjoy doing just that when left alone with the flopper for a period of time. That being said, when used as a frisbee for games of catch it has plenty of durability and my dog has discs that are 8+ months old stashed all around the yard and garage (but not in the house!) as a testament to its durability.
All the designs are great but our favorite is “Go Nuts for Donuts” (especially in the morning session) and the “Green Monster” (eye). Would love to see some new designs Hyper Pet or better yet a custom option!

So we received this doggie toy today. It may have lasted all of 15 minutes. I went out to throw it around with our 11 month old Lab. If your dog is hearty chewer I would not recommend. However she loved it while it lasted. A smaller baby might fair better. It seemed well made.
