I got the red burst, it’s very pretty, nice paint job. Solid guitar, clean sound. It’s a $300 dollar guitar with a tremolo system with no locking tuners or locking bridge, so, it’s exactly what you’d expect at that price. Holds it’s running just fine. Very much worth the price and you can always upgrade the hardware.

Looks great and sounds great. My son loves it.

I have just begun playing guitar and I really love how this Ibanez sounds. It is my first guitar and it feels comfortable to play and sounds really good. Better than I expected.

The GRX IBANEZ , is a great budget guitar .plays like a more expensive ibanez ,great price for your money ,if it wasn’t for the price you would think it’s a 700 dollar guitar
Frets are smooth & polished, paint is absolutely cool and good quality, tone knob actually commands a difference in tone for one knob. Humbuckers and single coil pickups sound great. I wouldn’t hesitate to use this guitar at a live gig
.awsome guitar IBANEZ… FYI, I HAVE MORE THAN ONE…🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙

El diseño se ve un poco diferente en persona que en fotos, pero buen producto.

The look of the guitar is really cool and interesting. The fretboard feels a little different than the more expensive gio and RG guitars but it is playable. I was actually very amazed by the sound of the guitar! I expected it to be pretty decent not amazing. I plugged it into my pedalboard that has 150 different sounds and effects. I put it on my distortion channel and it sounded awesome! I recommend it for people starting out and wanting to get into playing metal. Or anyone who wants a nice looking guitar on a budget. My only thing with the guitar is the strings that came on it. It had what felt to be 8 to 38 gauge strings on it but that’s just a personal preference thing the strings would be fine for a beginner. I put thicker gauge strings on it and had to adjust the action a little bit. I recommend it.

I am a beginner. I’ve been playing this new Ibanez for about 6 weeks. Two hours a day practicing. I have had no issues. Stays tuned. Neck and fretboard are smooth. Fit and finish are really nice. Would recommend for any beginner.

My son LOVED this guitar. We started him out on the ibanez brand and all his guitars have to be the brand. Really shiny and in tune. This brand last for yrs

The GRX 70 from Ibanez is fantastic considering the price point. I have bought and sold many guitars in my life at different price points and this guitar is a steal. Made in China this was shipped perfectly..no fret edges at all..intonation spot on..finish perfect..pickups powerful as ever..and overall the quality is outstanding!…I have a beautiful Schecter Diamond series guitar which I love and this Ibanez goes toe to toe with it!. I can’t possibly think you can buy a better guitar for 200 dollars today than the GRX 70 Ibanez!

I did a lot of research prior to buying this guitar. I’ve played guitar for 32 years and really wanted an inexpensive guitar that sounds good clean but can throw down some grit for rock and blues. I’m a Les Paul guy normally and wanted to mix things up.
It arrived and I was super nervous because it sat in my unheated mail room of my place for some time and it was 18 degrees today. I brought it in and gave it an hour in the box to warm up prior to opening it up. It came well packed in a double box. It has a perfect set up on it straight out of the box which surprised me. I don’t know if they do a set up at the factory or the third party that ships it does a set up prior to shipping it but it is perfect!!! It was also nearly in tune, which is unusual for a shipped guitar. This thing is really closer to a $400 to $500 guitar than $200 when looking at the features. Some things that really sold me.
The tuning pegs are super smooth, much better than other guitars in the same price range.
The neck isn’t finished on the back and is sanded silky smooth. This makes it super smooth and fast when playing. Most other guitars in the price range spray a finish on the entire neck and when you are playing and your hands get hot your fingers start to stick.
The pickups are far superior to anything you may find in any other $200 guitar (note they are not going to be as awesome as a $1000 guitar and up but I bet you could buy a $500 guitar with worse pickups)
The tremolo is far better than anything else on the market for a guitar in the same price range. Most other guitars have thin white metal tremolos with thin springs that lose their spring quickly.
Very Simple Controls. The 5 way switch covers the bridge pickups, the middle and one bridge pickup, the middle pickup alone, the middle and one neck pickups, and both neck pickups. The knobs are gain and level and operate on all pickups selected. Right away it was really easy to get clean tones and a nice crunch with little fiddling.
Bottom line if you are buying your first electric guitar, a back up instrument, or something to just mess around with then this is the guitar for you!!! Well done Ibanez!

This was a birthday present for someone who is just learning to play. He loves it. He named it. He treasures everything about it. The color is beautiful, and the design is nice.
All that aside, a very experienced player was in the room with the recipient and made a variety of small critiques about the quality of the instrument. Most of those critiques went right over my head, but suffice it to say that someone who owns and plays 5 different types of guitars, some custom, might not appreciate it as much as someone just starting out.
