Indigo Wild Frankincense & Myrrh Sea Salt Mist

I have ordered 4 different scents and I’m disappointed. I’ll give my thoughts on each one
Sea Salt: 2 Words. Lemon Pledge. I should have listened to other reviewers. It smells nothing of sea but more like you just cleaned your house with lemon Pledge and Mr Clean Lemon.
Frankincense and myrrh: This just smells bad and like cheap cologne. I can’t wear this.
Sandalwood and citrus: Mediocre at best. Lasts about 10 minutes when I wear it.
Patchouli: It smells like patchouli but no lasting power. Again, about 10 minutes of scent.
These don’t last long as room spray either. I’m not bothering to return these. It’s a pain. I tried giving them away but no one wanted them
Oh…. And I almost forgot. 2 out of the 4 won’t spray properly

Initially I was using this as a natural room spray, I was not entirely impressed with its lasting power. However, as i was preparing for an event, I used the mist in Its capacity as a body spray. The bottle does state that it can be used use for either. I noticed almost immediately, as the mist cascaded down, it fell ever so delicately upon my skin, it was quite refreshing!! I did not realize to what extent until I attended the event. My husband was the 1st to notice the delightful exuberant fragrance. He complemented me several times about how good I smelled.; can’t say that Ii did not enjoy that attention. From my hair to the bottom of my feet, I was covered in this stuff!! And I smelled GREAT!! During the event, I was again complemented over and over again, by others, even I was in awe about how good Zum Mist was. It is now a part of my daily. “Out of the Shower” routine. My favorites are the Sea Salt and the Frankincense & Myrrh. They pair well with natural scents like- Cocoa butter, Coconut oil, Almond oil, or Shea Butter. The invigorate your mind and your senses!! Zum Mist is a must!!

I had tried to make my own body spray at home with essential oils, distilled water, and then experimenting with vegetable glycerin. A lot of home recipes advise to add Witch Hazel or high proof liquor but have not wanted to go that route.

This product lists only 3 ingredients: Water, glycerin, and fragrance (oils)

I had initially stayed away because I assume it would be as big a let down as my home recipes, and the price was a bit expensive for what it is. I am very happy with the purchase however. The scent lasts a long time. I’ll give myself a few sprays on my body, maybe a spray or 2 over my clothes, and hours later I’ll still smell the fragrance on me.

I have to believe the tiny bit of ingredients used because you can see the oil separate from the water almost instantly. So you need to shake it every single time and spray it fast before it separates. A small price to pay to not have 10+ chemicals in your spray, whose sole purpose is just to make sure things stay mixed and dissolved.

This revamps my interest in figuring out what is going wrong with my home recipes. Will buy again.

This is my first time trying Zum mists. I like how one spray goes a long way, either to fragrance a room or to use as body spray. I also enjoy both of the scents, although neither of them truly smell like what the name would indicate. Sea Salt is definitely a strong lemongrass and ginger fragrance, rather than anything beachy, salty, or ocean-like. The Frankincense & Myrrh smells a bit woodsy, but also kind of like baby powder at the same time. It smells nothing like pure frankincense or myrrh essential oils, but I still enjoy the scent.
