It does everything it says and the extra rubber band might be handy some day but we just didn’t use it on out Alaska cruise. Very sturdy and folds easily. Would be good to have it for water in the room but we just didn’t use it.

I purchased a 3-pack of these for my wife, daughter, and I. We travel regularly, and I was tired of wasting carry-on space with giant, solid containers. I was really impressed with the build of the water-bottle itself. The triangle shape remains a bit more rigid than others once filled. It felt like I was actually holding a water bottle, not a water balloon. It collapses easily to an incredibly small size, and it’s really easy to fill with the wide neck. Yes, the water bottles have a bit of an odd smell from manufacturing, but there are simple instructions on how to remove the odor, and after a little vinegar, the smell was much better. This was looking like a really good purchase, but…
When I gave these a test, I found two of the three leaked! One leaks from the neck of the lid. It’s a VERY small, slow leak, so it doesn’t make the bottle completely useless. I wouldn’t leave it full and turned sideways in a pack, but it’s still useful for carrying around as long as it remains mostly upright. The other bottle has a pinhole leak in the side of the bottle. As soon as it’s filled a water bead starts forming on the side, and it’s enough to drip every few seconds. This one is absolutely unusable! The third one works flawlessly… it seals well and doesn’t drip at all.
So, if you get lucky and get working ones, these water bottles are an essential! But it seems like there are still some consistency issues that need work!

We love hiking, camping and well just going on adventures. So we like to keep an eye out for collapsible versions of items that will allow us to pack light but have everything that we may need with us. This water bottle will make a great addition to this gear. Not only is it compact to palm size and will take up next to space in your bag but it is easy to use and when done can be collapsed right back down.
Now upon arrival it comes compacted and ready to be stored away, though I would recommend make sure to open it up and give it a quick wash down. These can have a minor smell to them and it is due to being stored away and it being silicone. Once I washed this unit off there were no issues at all. It is easy to open or close just make sure that the lid to drink out of is open and either pull to expand it or push and twist to compact it. And just like that you are ready to use the unit, or pack it away to carry on with your adventure. These will also be great for office use as they take up very little space and can be compacted and stored on your desk overnight keeping your space nice and clean. There are several uses for this bottle. Overall it is a great unit, and comes with a back up elastic incase it is needed.

The only improvement I could suggest would be adding measurement markings on the side.

It is a good bottle. I have been enjoying it at work every day, i drink at least 3 of these worth of water per shift because i am out in the hot sun walking all day. If the lids twisted on correctly it never leaks either.
There is an issue when you first get it where it has a terrible smell and that smell very much affects the experience in a bad way if you don’t put hot tea in it. Additionally I made the error of holding onto the bottle when i poured the hot tea in. My hand shook and i poured boiling hot water on my hand… don’t do that. It then smelled like tea for a couple days but following that its a fantastic water bottle.
Another reviewer pointed out no matter how full it is, you can always set it down and it never flops over. That is 100% accurate.

In the past I never thought that collapsible liquid containers bring huge advantage, but they still can be convenient. When filled there are no better than the rigid ones – in fact, they may be a bit harder to handle because the grip on them is not as firm; they still can help reduce the baggage when emptied, and let you have your owner container ready to fill with water when the opportunity arises.
The Infitran bottle hasn’t dramatically changed my view on the collapsible containers – but as far as these go, it is one of the best I’ve tried. The material is solid – does not make me worried that it might be damaged in a hiking backpack, unless you pack it up with sharp objects in direct contact. The triangular panes make it really easy to collapse or expand – just make sure the lid is not tight when doing so. An elastic silicone strap – basically a robust rubber-band – keeps the bottle to the minimum size when collapsed, and doubles as a carrying strap when filled.
The specs say it can go well below freezing and above boiling points for water (-50℃-200℃) – though I probably wouldn’t carry anything very hot or cold, as it the outside of the bottle would be the same temperature; it is not designed to provide insulation.
Elaborate instructions are provided on how to remove “slight natural silicon smell that may exist”; I’m happy to report that I did not have that issue with my bottle – I just washed it lightly using regular dish-washing detergent.
The product met my expectations – I can recommend it.

I keep these in my backpack so I can carry drinks home on my motorcycle. The seal is so good that after riding 30 minutes with a fresh fountain drink, the carbonation had made the bottle very bloated. Not a single leak, and untwisting the cap slightly let the gas out without spilling soda everywhere. I really like the straw as well.

We got some of these for trips. They collapse down to a compact size for packing in a suitcase or backpack. They are easy to twist up to full size for carrying liquids. As with any soft-sided water bottle, be careful not to squeeze it when full. I like the silicon straw that is built in the flip-top. As someone suggested, I did brew some green tea in them and let them sit overnight to remove any odd tastes.

These were great to bring for a music festival. They have a band that you can attach to your fanny pack and it isn’t too heavy. Holds a good amount of water.
It was easy to put on and off. I did not notice any smell from it.
It will NOT keep your water cold so I would just keep that in mind. We tried to put it in the freezer over night and use the next day but that method didn’t really work.
Overall it was good.

I ended up getting this bottle to support my traveling when space became an issue. Though, over the last number of months, I’ve opted to not use it at all, instead grabbing for my big brand water bottle instead. One of the biggest reasons? The insulation.
I forgot just how warm water becomes when left in an uninsulated bottle.
Then comes the flimsiness of the bottle, it just doesn’t sit well on a counter, even when full in my use of it.
So while I do see some use cases for this bottle on the go and planning to drink the water immediately, it just didn’t meet my needs.

This is a nice compact water bottle. I bought originally for a run race that didn’t provide cups. It was definitely too heavy for that but fits great in my purse to use anytime we are running around and need a glass of water, it is also leak proof.
