I got these for uplink between by switches with sfp+ ports. Works well. No connection issues seen.
Thor –
DAC works as expected.
Worth noting — the length of each cable is measured from the bitter end to the bitter end — I was expecting the length to be quoted for the cable itself from boot to boot. This can lead to a few surprises when using the really short lengths.
The release pulls are also a little flimsy — I’m kind of afraid I could break them if I tugged a bit harder than I should in cramped quarters.
Otherwise, it’s a DAC. Does what it says on the tin 🙂

Works great connecting my Unifi switches. Use at the 1G speed.

Excelente calidad, rendimiento óptimo.

Installed this between a UDM Pro (SFP+) and a Unifi Switch 16 POE (SFP), as recommended by other owners of Unifi products (this was specifically linked). It took a little work to get the two devices to recognize the connection, but the connection was made after forcing the connection to operate at 1G.
In the process of trying 3 different cables (figured ordering more than one would get at least one working, they’re cheap enough), one of them had its pull tab break. The mechanism for operating the latch was a little resistant, and I pulled hard enough to break the plastic. It is very thin plastic. Thinner than the pull tabs on the Unifi SFP+ cables (tried one and it DID NOT work).
I recommend pushing in on the cable when you try to pull the pull tab to remove it, otherwise the latch may not disengage enough to let the cable slide out. And don’t overdo the pull because it will break if pulled hard enough.

These are quality stiff cables– looks durable and should last.
I have four of these cables working with the following switches:
– Ubiquiti USW-Pro-Aggregation
– TP-Link TL-SX3008F
– QNAP QSW-M2108-2S
NICs:
– Dell Broadcom 57810S Dual-Port 10GbE SFP+ Converged Network Adapter Y40PH
– Mellanox MCX311A-XCAT ConnectX-3 EN 10G Ethernet 10GbE SFP+ PCIe NIC

These as they should worked well out the box(bag)
Used on TP-Link Omada network, using on following components
1) TP-Link Omada VPN Router with 10G Ports (ER8411) – Omada SDN Centralized Management, Two 10GE SFP+ Ports, Up to 10 WAN Ports, SSL/IPSec /OpenVPN/PPTP/L2TP VPN, Load Balance
2) TWO TP-Link TL-SX3016F Jetstream 16-Port 10GE SFP+ L2+ Managed Switch , both have two ports of sfp+ DAC to 3008 sfp+ DAC works fine.
3) ONE TP-Link TL-SX3008F | 8 Port 10G SFP+ Enterprise Level Switch | L2+ Smart Managed | Omada SDN Integrated | IPv6 | Static Routing | L2/L3/L4 QoS, IGMP & LAG
4) TP-Link TL-SG3428XMPONE 24-Port Gigabit and 4-Port 10GE SFP+ L2+ Managed Switch with 24-Port PoE+ (TL-SG3428XMP) – SDN Integrated, Cloud Access
The reason i listed the other equipment, is if you have this it should work without incident.
(or at least it has for me.)
I purchased these in both 0.5 Meter and 1.0 Meter lengths both were good (both ten packs)
TWO THUMBS UP
J. Bridges –
I used two of these to connect a Chinese TP-Link 8 port 10G SFP+ switch to two YuLinca 8 Port 2.5G Switches with 10G SFP+.
When I did it, I moved around some of the 2.5G connections, and got some strange results. I then unplugged power from all 3, powered them back up, and it all worked perfectly.
This is a far less expensive and lower powered alternative to 10GBase-SR transceivers and fiber cable I was using for short hops.
I am very pleased, recommended.
WontPontificate –
I used this to connect my unifi dream machine SE to a 24port unifi switch. Good quality product. No connectivity issues and speeds are as expected. Plug and play.
Peter –
Needed a new cable to connect my Ubiquiti switches and this works great.
A little long for units on top of each other, but better to have it too long than too short 😉
