This under eye concealer is effective and long lasting. It covers well without using much, although a little more can be applied if needed. I use a thin applicator with a blunt pointed edge (size of a toothpick), dip it into the top of the tube, apply it, and lightly spread it with my finger to even it out. That’s it. I like it better than Laura Geller’s Real Deal Concealer.
UPDATE: Since using this concealer for months now, the effect has changed recently. I use it as an under eye cover, and lately the concealer has dried to a slightly whitish color. I use the same amount and same routine every time and don’t understand the reason it has changed.
I have used Laura Geller’s Real Deal Concealer and liked it a lot but the price really went up, so I thought I’d try IT Cosmetics. Geller’s Real Deal Concealer went on smoothly and gave complete coverage.
I again ordered Geller’s product but this time tried the Ideal Fix Concealer and found it to be exactly what I needed. It gives excellent coverage and leaves no indication of using any concealer. It blends in perfectly and am so very happy with it. And the price was right.

A little goes a long way and that’s the key to keep it from looking caked on. For those of us of a certain age, concealers easily find their way into the fine lines around our eyes and this IT Cosmetics concealer is no exception. It won’t leave a flawless finish as that’s really just impossible when you have wrinkles, but if you use just the smallest amount and spread it evenly it will look better than most concealers out there. It offers great coverage concealing dark circles and it lasts a long time. I apply the smallest amount with my ring finger and then blend it in using a concealer brush ending with a light dusting of Laura Mercier’s Secret Brightening Powder for Under Eyes to set it and prevent eyeliner or mascara from smudging on it. It gives me a very natural look and I’d definitely buy this concealer again though I think this tube is going to last a long time. It’s a quality product.
